December 28th (Easel Time)

Today Adelyn wanted to do paint on her easel. She loved painting on it. She also painted mommy, daddy and Adelyn on paper. She did an excellent job!! I also got all the Christmas down today and are feeling better about getting everything organized and put away around here!! Oh and we finally sold our old Big screen tv...now we have so much more room in our livingroom/dining room!!

December 26th (Day after Christmas Shopping)

Well today is one of my favorite times...after Christmas shopping!! I love deals and this is one fun day to do it. All morning I went shoppping while Nick and Adelyn hung out at home. I looked and looked for a 9 ft Christmas tree in the price range we wanted but I couldn't find one. So later in the afternoon we all headed out after Addie's nap to get Nick a rental truck while his was in the shop and to find a tree. I had the idea to stop at Lowes and we hit the jack pot in my opinion. We got a 9 ft full tree for $100 when originally $378!! It was the last one on display...some of the lights weren't working but we bought it and Nick figured it out and fixed the lights!! It was a great day of shopping...just really tired!!

We came home and Adelyn wanted to do chalk on her new easel from GaGa and PaPa Livingston. She loves it!!

Then it was Adelyn's turn and I was amazed at this picture...she drew a circle then two circle eyes, a mouth and nose and said it was, "Mommy!!" I couldn't beleive it she is getting so big...then she drew Daddy!!

Today was such a fun day. We started off waking up sooner than Adelyn and my grandparents ended up coming over before she woke up also. LOL Adelyn is normally a early riser!! Then my parents and brother came over to share our first Christmas all together at our house. Adelyn loved having everyone come over and play with her. She got lots and lots of presents and enjoyed opening them...very slowly. She also would say, "Not yet"...if we asked her what she got before she got all of the paper off...every piece. It was super funny. Then Daddy and Mommy made biscuits with gravy, scrambled eggs, sausge, and bacon for breakfast. It was really yummy.

Then later around 3 pm we headed over to GaGa PaPa's house for the Livingston Christmas. We had Prime Rib which was super yummy. Adelyn got a sliver coin and an adorable polar bear from Nanny and Poppy. Thanks for such a great Christmas everyone!! Can't wait for next year to be back in our old house and have two little girls to share it with!!

Opening Presents.

Today was a super long/fun/exhausting day. We got to Grandma and Grandpa Livingston's at 10 am to start baking. Daddy left to go to his work Christmas party and so we had Addie. Adelyn did really well playing by herself all day and enjoyed Great GaGa and PaPa Hook stopping by for lunch...Chinese..Yum!! Then she wouldn't take a nap and was a little harder to manage while baking. I literally stood on my feet for 8 hours with 2-20 minute breaks to rest. Being 8 months pregnant it is a lot of work baking all day. We all had lots of fun and Addie enjoyed helping us ice the sugar cookies. We all ate dinner and it was time to go to the Tompkin's Holiday party.

We got over to the Tompkin's at 7 pm and went straight to the playroom to see the Simmon's family. All the girls had so much fun running and playing all around the house. This year we decided to just have a dessert party...easier and yummy. The girls then opened presents and we all bought Princess themed this year. Pretty funny!! We then eventually left around 10 pm...long night but had lots of fun catching up with friends.
