March 24th (Making Breakfast/Animals)

I made my own breakfast this morning, it felt like I did a lot!! Ugh! It's going to take a while to heal.

Animals cuddling with their mama. I am feeling exhausted and hurting everyday. But each day it gets a little better and better!
 

March 23rd (Glad to Be Home/Ella @ School)

My mom got me Starbucks today. 

Slept a little better than the hospital. But with abdominal pain and gas pain I didn't sleep well. 

Glad to be home though and will recuperate better here at home!!

I never took any pain meds only Advil since I have been home.

I really didn't want to get constipated!

Got these cute pics of Ella from her speech teacher! She loves school.

Also Nick has really been stepping his game up! He has been doing great helping the girls and keeping the house clean. We have meals coming for 4 days from friends and my mom. Then I have freezer meals made! Hoping to heal quick!!
 

March 20th-22nd (Surgery-Olathe Medical Center/Horrible Hospital Visit)

 So Nick and I headed to Olathe Medical a little after 5 am. We got checked in for surgery and I went to a room to wait with Nick. We left the girls asleep and told Adelyn last night we were doing that. Ella has a camera in her room that we can see her if she wakes up. Which of course out of all days she wakes up at 6 am. So I talked into the camera and told her to go back to bed because mommy was at the hospital. And luckily she did go back to bed, lol. Nick left around 7 to go home so if Ella woke up he would be there. My mom came up to sit with me the rest of the time. They gave me the good juice to relax me and I headed back to surgery at 7:30 am. All I remember is going back up to a room close to 11 am. They do the surgery then let you rest to wake up. I was in a lot of pain when I got up there and my mom was there. It took them 45 minutes to get me hooked up to pain meds through my IV! I was in a lot of pain, it was ridiculous. I was in and out of it most of the day and couldn't eat very well. They had me on a liquid diet. My mom left shortly after since I was in and out of sleep, Then Nick came up later at night after Ella went to bed. I was not very happy and in a lot of pain still. Started feeling nauseous from pain meds. I had a horrible night of feeling sick, throwing up and being in pain. I would sleep like an hour then wake up. It was really bad. The next morning I still felt nauseous and couldn't eat. I tried a little bit it was only a few bites. I didn't have a good day nurse, he barely checked on me. I had to get up every hour to pee since they took the catheter out. It sucks peeing when you are hooked up to a machine. I got up to walk one time, trying to get my bowels moving. Night nurses came back and were super helpful. Got me off the IV and got me motivated to walk more. Wednesday morning I got up not feeling nauseous finally and ate a little breakfast. I got up moving to get myself to "pass wind" so I could leave that crazy place!! I did it by 9:30 and was checked out by 10:30!!! Luckily Nick didn't work that day and he came to get me. We got Jersey Mikes on our way home, since it sounded good. I ate some of my sandwich, took a much needed shower. Then tried to nap but gas pains hurt too much. I am exhausted from lack of sleep!! Hopefully I will sleep better in my bed tonight!

March 19th (Fancy Dinner/Surgery Tomorrow)

Tonight we made yummy crab legs and steak for dinner. My last meal before my surgery! I still have been having headaches all day! Ugh!! I also went to a walk in type clinic since I have been having headaches for 6 days and sinus stuff now. They cleared me and said it was ok for me to go into surgery. I am getting a little more nervous about tomorrow morning! Ugh I want the surgery but I know its going to suck!! Going to try to go to bed early tonight since we have to wake up before 5 am!!
 

March 18th (Parkville Volleyball Tournament-Afternoon Session/Dinner out with Team)

Parkville Volleyball Tournament

It was an afternoon tournament so we didn't start till 2 pm.

We all went together.

Today is the first day that my head isn't as bad.

Well they ended up losing, 3rd place. Oh well, but what sucks is they have to stay and ref then! So boring!! We all headed out to eat Mexican for dinner right by the place we played volleyball at. Always fun to have team dinners!!

We ate and were tired! I started to get another headache so we headed home! Love our volleyball team.

 

March 16th (St. Patricks Donuts/Rock KC for Addie)

I ordered these donuts and Nick went to pick them up!

Adelyn got to go have some fun with her friend Kaia.

I have been having really bad headaches and had to stay home. 

1st time going and she had a blast!

I wish spring break would be a little bit better! I have had a headache for days, literally go to sleep then wake up with it! I also am prepping food for the freezer for my upcoming surgery. I am going to be getting a hysterectomy! My periods keep getting worse and I am not able to do anything unless I pop a Hydrocodone! Ugh ready to feel better and never have a period again! Not looking forward to surgery though!!

March 13th (Library with Daddy)

Headed up to the library to go get some stuff and play on the playground for a little bit. It was a little cold out but we the sun was shining!

We ran bye the store to get a few things also.

I wanted to make strawberry shortcake but they were out of shortcakes. So I opted to make angel food cake. It turned out great! So yummy!

I love strawberry shortcake!

 

March 12th (Ella's New Toy)

Ella has been wanting one of these FOREVER!!

It's a mama Guinea Pig that has 3 babies.

So you put batteries in the guinea pig and then the house. You pet, and feed the mom then put back in the cage to have its babies. It has one in 15 mins, then 10 hours, then 10 hours again! Ella loved it! Pretty expensive but she had lots of Target Gift cards. Happy little girl!
