June 28th (Doctors!!)

Today we headed to the doctor since Addie still had a fever. Well she had an ear infection. I pointed out to the doctor (not her normal pediatrician, just a doctor) that she had some little bumps on her feet and legs...but he just disregarded it. Aidan also has a fever so Hollie took him to the doctor yesterday after Adelyn and his doctor said he has hand foot and mouth!! So I am pretty sure that is what Adelyn has on top of an ear infection. Some doctors just make me mad....it seems like they just try to find one thing wrong and that is the answer. Adelyn's fever broke today luckily, but still doesn't feel very good and is still contagious. So no babies again tomorrow. Hopefully all will be well with Addie soon!!

June 27th (Day 2 of Fever/ Mommies new Hair!!)

Well I chopped off all my hair...I was sick of being so hot this summer!! I love how short it is and I can't wait to do all kinds of fun things to it!!

Today Adelyn started off feeling better in the morning but after her first nap she was miserable again. We have been giving her tylenol and motrin off and on. I just feel so bad for her. She has never really been sick with a virus/fever this bad!! I hope day 3 will be better.

June 26th (Sick Baby Girl!!)

Today Adelyn woke up with a low grade fever which then developed into 102.9 fever. She was so upset and miserable all day. I felt horrible for her and gave her chicken noodle soup, plenty of water and lots of love!! The only thing that made her some what happy was watching Sesame Street...she loves her Elmo!! (The pic above is her watching Sesame St.)

June 25th (Pudding Pops/Swimming)

Right now Mommy is into making things as homemade as possible...so we decided to make our own pudding pops. Adelyn helped me stir...what a great little helper. We will update when we try them!!

I just had Peyton today...and he is still a big sleeper, so Adelyn and I got to play out in the pool today. She just loves being in the water!!

June 24th (Outside with Daddy!!)

Tonight Adelyn played outside with Daddy while Mommy cooked Chicken stir fry. Adelyn loves to be outside and luckily it cooled down enough so she could play outside.

Update: Adelyn is now taking a bink again at nap and night time, a little during the day because a molar is breaking through. This has helped with going to bed and not nursing!!!

June 22nd (What a BIG Girl Today!!)

Adelyn went over to her chair, sat down, and opened her book to read it like a big girl.

Addie took her snack on her own and went to sit down in her chair to eat.

Today Adelyn was such a BIG girl. She does so much now on her own....I am so proud of her!! She is such a great little girl to be around with...I love being able to stay home with her and being able to see her learn!! Love you so much Adelyn Ann!!!

June 20th (Happy Father's Day!!)

Today we had a great day. We got donuts for breakfast and Daddy opened his presents from Addie. We got him new KU work out shorts and a black shirt. Adelyn also made Daddy a coozy that said # 1 Dad. We then all just hung out all day together...Daddy went to the gym during Adelyn's nap and I just relaxed do to a late night the night before. We then headed to RC's for a chicken dinner with all of my family. Great Day ....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY...thanks for being such a great daddy!!

Side Note: Tonight was the last night to nurse Adelyn to sleep. We are officially done nursing...will update through the week!! I am very sad but excited for Adelyn to be a big girl!!

June 19th (Josh's Wedding Shower/Bachelor Party!!)

Tonight was such a fun night. I got to go out to Josh's wedding shower at Hollie's house. Then I stayed way to long and had to much fun hanging with the girls and dancing!! Woo Hoo. Thanks for the great time girls!!

Today was a fun day!! We went to Target and got Adelyn's one year pictures done, which turned out great!! Then we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Livingston's for swimming and dinner. The storm cleared out and the water was nice. Later on we headed home and then mommy headed to Hollie's to go to Josh's wedding shower.

June 18th (Belton Community Days)

Eating custard at Culvers...she loves ice cream so she loved the custard also!!

Belton Community Days....a small Old Settlers to us Olathe Folks!! Addie played her first game and picked Chicken Little.

Tonight was a great night even though it was super hot outside. We first went and ate dinner at Culver's which was yummy and then we headed to Belton Community Days. Addie just loves her Chicken Little guy and even sleeps with him!!

June 16th (Piggy Tails!!)

Today was a crazy day....all the kids just were off today!! But this afternoon I finally was able to put Addie's hair in Piggy Tails!! She looked adorable but didn't want to wear them very long!! Mommy is very tired and is ready to relax on the coach.

June 15th (BIG GIRL!!)

Adelyn today sat in her bumbo in the chair for a make shift booster!! She did great..but this weekend we are getting her a real one. She just loves sitting like a BIG girl.

June 14th (Daddy Time!!)

I can finally put Addie's hair up in a ponytail!! woo hoo...Mommy is so excited!!

Today Daddy had the day off unfortunately but it was nice for Daddy to spend some one on one time with Adelyn. Daddy went to run some errands so he took Adelyn along with him. This was the first time Daddy had taken Adelyn anywhere by himself. They had a great time!!

June 13th (Lake/Home again!!)

We had such a fun time hanging with Grandma Judy and Adelyn really started to warm up the last day. It was fun catching up and just hanging together. Hope to see you soon Grandma...love you!!

Tonight Adelyn was super cute in the bathtub. She now loves laying on her tummy and kicking in the tub!!

June 13th (Lake of the Ozark's to visit Great Grandma Judy)
