I got up making food for today.
Desserts, dips, appetizers, hamburgers and hot dogs!
Busy day!
I made more watermelon/mint/lime with some sugar slushes without alcohol for me to sip on all day.

Nick made a partition to help from fireworks firing at us. But they still went out the sides but didn't hit us. I liked standing behind the cars, so did my Aunt Maggie. Adelyn was inside at this point along with Ella. She was tired and ready for bed around 9:00. But we had to wait till everyone/Nick was done! Ugh next year we might do something different!
Well the Sheriff showed up to say we can't light off fireworks in this neighborhood. We have lit them off since we moved here when I was 9! So it must be a new Sheriff? Not sure what will happen with this next year but we just got a warning. My brother was drunk trying to tell off the Sheriff, but luckily didn't get in trouble. I was ready to go and we loaded the car as soon as they were done to get out of here. We got home around 10:30!
