March 13th (Tennesse Trip Day 1:Bonnie, IL)

We left around 3:10ish to head to Bonnie, IL! I found a cute Airbnb for one night that is in a small town with a cute diner nearby to get breakfast and get on the road early in the morning Saturday.

Lets go and have some family fun!

Ella is still a little tired but doing much better!

Still worried about her relapsing if she does too much.

We ate dinner in Columbia, MO at Texas Roadhouse. Yum, we have stopped at this one in the past! 

Got to the Airbnb a little late 9:45 ish. Got Ella to bed right away.

March 12th (Ella Getting Better)

Ella did coffee cart with friends today.

She only went a 1/2 day again today since she is so tired.

We leave tomorrow.

I got mostly every thing done errands wise! Just need to finish packing a cleaning up a little around the house!

 

March 11th (Target Mess Up/Kander Family Cat)

Target send me my order late plus it showed up broken and ruined!

Ugh I just don't know why they let you order things if they aren't going to pad it correctly to be shipped!

It's just more annoying because we are going on this trip and Ella still isn't feeling the best and is exhausted acting. She doesn't have a fever anymore but still feels yucky. So I ordered stuff since I am not really leaving the house much.

Ella did go to school late, like 1/2 day today. And seemed exhausted when she got home.

I went to Jeff and Sasha's to feed their cats. They have a new kitty, Lacey! She is so cute and adorable!

You can hold her and snuggle her! She doesn't even try to run, just wants loves!

 

March 9th (Papa David's Birthday)

Tonight just Adelyn and I went to Jalapeno's to celebrate Papa's birthday. 

Ella is still sick with a fever. 

It just seems super weird that she would still be sick after the shot she had an antibiotic??

Nick stayed home with her. Ugh I hope she gets better quickly we leave for our trip on the 13th. 

Ella had been sleeping a lot and just resting all day. Poor thing.

 

March 7th (Ella Is Sick-ER Visit/Adelyn Volleyball Tournament)

Well today didn't go as planned. 

I checked on Ella before I left to take Adelyn to her volleyball tournament and she was shaking but I thought it might have been a seizure but it seemed like she had a fever. But I was like, well she stopped having a fever Wednesday so how could she have one now? Well I was wrong and when she got up an hour later Nick said she didn't look well at all. I told him to take her temp since I was at volleyball tournament in Shawnee. It was 104.7! And he got her to drink some juice/water. But she was totally out of it. So I said lets meet at Overland Park Reginal ER. 

Poor thing looked horrible. 

They took her back right away and started running tests and doing blood work on her. Got her some tylenol to bring down her fever, but it was liquid and she threw up some of it. Ugh! All results were coming back negative-covid, flu, and liver and stuff was fine.

They did a CT scan to check her neck since it has been hurting for a while now as well. She has been having the same symptoms I was having a week ago. 

(Tired, neck hurting, congested, nose clogged bad, feeling run down-I didn't have a fever like she did a few days ago though.)

Well finally after a while of waiting it came back-Positive for Strep??! What she didn't seem to have symptoms. This is crazy, I can't believe it. Weird. It's good we know but Ella is horrible at taking meds, so long story short I convinced them to give her the shot in her arms. They didn't want to give it to us since it's in low supply but they got convinced. Both arms and she cried a lot! It's a thick liquid. Ugh! 

After 5 hours of being in ER we finally got to leave. Nick was there half the time then headed home to work on the house with a guy we know. We just have a little more left to get done!! Will it ever end??!

I ended up taking Ella home and got her settled in front of the tv, after going potty and getting her a drink. 

I headed back to tournament to watch the last 2 games of Adelyn.

Adelyn played great like normal. But the team over all didn't do the best!

Glad Ella is ok. I hope the meds kick in and start to help quickly!

Long day!! Ugh I am exhausted and worried!

 

March 6th (Ella Feeling Better/Coach Green Grand Son/Moana Jr Musical @ CT)

Ella hadn't been feeling well and was home for a few days. 

She got to go back today. Coach Green, who is a para in CBR 2 had a visitor today and Ella got to help feed him! How sweet!

Ella was sick on Wednesday so we couldn't go to the musical that I had purchased tickets too. So today she was better and so we went to the musical after school!

She was so excited to see Moana Jr, plus one the her friends is in the musical as well.

Ella wanted Daddy to come too!

It was such a super cute musical! They did such a great job. And they sang so good for being in middle school!

Ella was still tired but glad she is getting better. Got her to bed early tonight.
 

March 3rd (Freezer Prep)

I figured out you can make huge batches of crab Rangoon, then freeze and cook from frozen and they are amazing!!

I am wanting more prepped frozen food, so I have been working on that.

I also finally got some pizzas made to freeze as well. 

(We ended up eating one this weekend and it was so yummy!!)

No more frozen pizzas from the store for us.

Now I just need to make a bunch more and then some individual ones.
