July 3rd (Our House/Vegetable Garden)

I love the front of our house!
We put up these festive buntings before we left town. I love them!
Wow my garden has gotten crazy, in a good way! Everything is so grown! Yay! (Thanks to Ruth For watering)

Beautiful Zinnia's too!
Bumpy squash!
Jalapenos.
Banana Peppers.
Love gardening.

July 2nd (Day 7: Heading home-Crossing Border/Tim Hortons/Saucy Pasta/Girls)

Canada Side.
Going over the bridge.
Detroit what, Detroit what!
Coming back to the promise land!
Headed back, easy to get back in again too!
We headed out of Detroit area to get some breakfast. We headed to a diner but it was closed due to it being too hot. But next door was a Tim Hortons so we got that. Never had it before. It was pretty good. Breakfast sandwiches and donuts. We got Ella to take another Advil so she is doing pretty well and ate a good breakfast.
Look at this cute little box for their timbits. The glazed were good!
Everyone did really well in the car. We drove and drove and drove!!
We stopped and got smoothie king for lunch to keep us moving. I got in the back and fed the smoothie to Ella. It helped out on losing time to go inside somewhere and eat. Plus I thought it would feel good on her teeth.
We finally stopped outside of St. Louis to get some early dinner. We were all getting hungry.
I found a place called Saucy Pasta-homemade noodles and sauce. Oh my gosh best Italian EVER!! It was a place you walk up to the counter then they bring it out to you! So good! And it was easy for Ella to eat. Adelyn loved her chicken alfredo. Ella and I shared Spaghetti and meatballs. Plus their salad, I wish it was in KC! Amazing!

Ella holding Adelyn's finger like a weirdo! Ha.
Adelyn is such a good big sister to her. Helping me out in the car all the time. I really appreciate her!
I don't know what I am going to do without her when she goes to college.
We ended up getting home around 7:30 with the time change! Wow 15 1/2 hours! Glad we are home and I can't wait to sleep in my own bed!!

July 1st (Day 6: Canada Day-Canada's Wonderland-SOOO HOTTT/Outlet Mall-Early Dinner/Ella's Accident-Chipped Teeth)

Here we go. Only a 15 min drive.
Wow look at all those rides!
Lots of people but there are a lot of rides.

We split off, Addie and Nick ran off to big coasters while Ella and I went to small rides.

Swan ride, I saw this online and couldn't wait to go. So fun and old school!

Helicopter ride up next.

Oh my gosh it is so HOT! We found Nick and Addie.
There they go. We ate before they went on this ride, luckily I found an indoor place with food.

Ella and Addie.

Ella wanted to ride with Adelyn.
We headed over to the water park side, it was a bit of a trek unfortunately. Plus a million people were there. We got cooled off in the water and then saw these yummy Beaver Tail treats!
They were the best treat, but messy with all the heat!

We need to get out of here.
2 1/2 hours was enough in this heat.

Ella was hot and tired.

Peace out Canada's Wonderland!
We headed to the Outlet Mall which thankfully is indoors! It was packed with 1 million people though! We got an early dinner in the food court with barely a spot to sit at. Multiple people asked for our table before we were done. I mean the most packed out place ever! Ugh! Time to head back to the Airbnb and take some showers.
Well not a good idea on the shower because Ella slipped outside the shower and chipped her teeth. Plus the front two were bleeding behind. This was horrible. Slick tile in the bathroom and no towel to step onto! I called Dentist and will get her in after the 4th of July. If there is an emergency I can call them over the weekend. We leave at 5 am in the morning so hopefully it goes ok with her hurt mouth!

Poor thing.

Took pics for Airbnb.
