June 15th (The Pool/My Vegetables)

Nick worked his ass off getting our old hot tub that has been broken for 3 or 4 years broken down and thrown out this weekend. 

I have a rib out of place so I couldn't do too much this weekend. I cooked and baked things. But I had to pop Advil to just do anything. Ugh! I need to go to the chiropractor.

He also cleaned this area out from weeds and wood. (Found two snakes! Ugh Yuck get out of here)

My tomato plants are going crazy. We had so much rain for the last few weeks, they have gotten so BIG!

So we are almost done with the house inside so of course we need to do some landscaping here! Ha. We do need a pathway for my planters. I also want to add some blueberry bushes! Maybe we will get to this in July/Aug or September. It will be done one day.

 

June 11th (Meet up with Erica-Park Street Pastries in Olathe/Adelyn Volleyball)

Met up with Erica for the 1st time this summer!

Oh my goodness, this cinnamon roll was amazing! 

Erica and I caught up, chatted forever, which I love!! We always have the best time.

Very good choice. 

Our kids are in different places and are getting older. I miss them being little and all our adventures. 

But it was nice to just be able to talk and hang out just us!

I think I came here years ago, I think in 2018 for Galentine's Day with friends. It was different then, but still yummy. More cafe and cute now.

(Adelyn has been having a hard time with school ending and thinking of big decisions coming up with college. So she has been emotional lately. She decided to not do OE volleyball this year. Not happy with the coach, too much time after school, and feels like it's just too competitive for her now. It was making her hate it, instead of having fun!'

I was very upset and crying as well for the last few days. I also need more sleep and so does she. 

Hopefully we are on the way up and she will start to feel better about things and life.

 

June 10th (My Vegetables)

June 9th (Adelyn's 17th Birthday w/Friends-Other Place/Hades Town Musical at Starlight)

Dinner at the Other Place-Appetizers for the win! April and I got to catch up at another table nearby!

I drove us to Starlight all together.

It was a little warm today, but was cooling down once we got there. Perfect weather actually.

Always a good time with this one.

I think I went here as a kid but I don't remember! This place is so cute!

These three were together a few sections over and had better seats. 

I really didn't care were we sat.

I am not a musical lady, but did it for my daughter. 

But as the musical went on it was actually pretty good, I didn't like the ending though.

Our seats were still good! And they have tv screens to watch from to see better. This place was packed out. We didn't end up getting home till 11:30! Ugh I am tired. Another late night.
 

June 8th (Pudding)

I needed to use up some raw milk, so I opted to make chocolate and vanilla pudding! yum.

 

June 6th (Taylor's 18th Birthday-Taylor's gift/Ella 1st Respite Night-Maria's Gym/Johnny's Date Dinner)

We fed Ella early then took her to her 1st Respite Night-Miss Maria's has volunteers watch special needs kids for parents to have a break! It was from 5:30-8 pm. I was super nervous because of her seizures. But they seemed so nice and it was an amazing place!

We stayed nearby and ate at Johnny's for dinner.

They sent me photo's to make me comfortable, so sweet!

Mazey was there too!! Yay.

Ella had such a great time. We picked her up around 7:30 to get her home to bed. She was tired when we picked her up but wanted to come back next month. They do it once monthly. So many sweet and great people! What an amazing gift these people are giving to all the parents. Very much appreciated! She will be back in July!

They are pretty cool snakes. I really don't mind having them here. I mean I prefer them in their tanks! Ha.

Adelyn didn't get home till Midnight, ugh! I feel asleep upstairs then she woke me up to make sure she got home safely. Ugh I have not been sleeping the best with different reasons. I need some sleep!
