June 27th-Day 3:(Allegretti's Bakery/Six Flags Great America)

Nick and I got up to go get donuts from this bakery right down the street.
It has been around since 1945!!

Yum. The cake donuts taste just like cake! Very different and good.
(Muffins we ate another day, best ever!!)
We ate breakfast then headed to Six Flags in Gurnee, IL. Got there 15 mins early and there was a big line but we got in line and hoped for the best!!
Cute place. Divide and conquer. Ella and I got a special needs pass while Nick and Adelyn ran to the big roller coasters.
Time for the kiddie rides with Ella.

Batman car. Ella loves Batman.
Ella and I went on this one. Mini Rollercoaster, perfect for Ella.

Nick and Adelyn are on this crazy one! It looked crazy and fast.

Adelyn and I went right onto this Batman Ride, no wait. It went upside down a lot! Ugh!

Starting to get hungry so we need to find some food. They have more choices here.
The girls are on this spinning high ride! Crazy.
Food before everyone melts down.
Ella needs food and drink!
Big Mozzarella stick for Addie, it needed to be hotter. Boo.

Hot dog and mozzarella together. Good.
Coke float for Addie.
ICEE for Ella.

Little dipper for the girls.

Another Batman ride that we all could go on! yay.
Ella was so excited for the Batman ride.
A 2 story carousel!

Time to try out this thing from the 70's!
Suppose to give you a cool view of the park.
Here we got. It goes up high then rotates super super slow to look out. I love these nostalgic rides.

Our views.

Time to head out of here in the afternoon. Getting warmer out and we are tired from all the rides. Had a fun time! Tomorrow we head out to Sandusky, OH!

June 26th (Day 2:Airbnb/Driving to Chicago-360 Building/Stan's Donuts/Harry Potter Store/River Walk/Parrots/The Bean/Chicago Dog/Pizza/Navy Pier/China Town-Dinner)

Our nice modern Airbnb in a nice neighborhood.

Time to drive to Chicago!
So many different sized houses. But there are a lot of mini mansions.

There is Chicago, it was only about 30 min drive from us.

We made it to the 360 Building.
We parked and decided to stay here since parking is so expensive.
Lets go up to look out!

Pretty church across the street.

We headed up in a fast elevator to look out!
Very pretty view.

I loved seeing all the pools on top of buildings!

We saw all the views and then it was time to walk to see some more!

A place I had on my list to check out.

Adelyn's was a nutella filled, she loved it.
They were ok, not the best.
Next up Harry Potter store!!
I need me some butter beer.

The store is packed but really cool inside.

Butter beer bar!
Yummy, I got frozen and Adelyn got regular.
And we get to keep the cute cup!
Looking for a wand.

She picked one out.

The cool Starbucks. We opted to just walk bye.
Onto the riverwalk.

All the tall buildings.

The river walk!!
So pretty.

A Hello Kitty Store opened and this was the line to get into the store and cafe! Umm pass.
Almost 4th of July.

Trump Building.
Pigeon.
An aparment building with parking underneath that stick out. I thought this was so crazy, plus round!
Super pretty around the Riverwalk.
Heading to the Bean.
Then we came across people on the street with animals. They had birds and Ella's dream has always been to have a parrot on her shoulder!
Her dreams came true, I also took a video! So happy!

The BEAN!!
Wow lots of people are here.

Family photo!

Love this!

Chicago Dog! I took a bite too! Yum.
We were starting to get hungry.
The place we wanted to go to was too far away, so we opted for a closer option.
Giordano's
Calamari-really good.
Alfredo-not so good.
We opted for a child size Chicago deep dish.
It was good but we knew the girls didn't want any so we got a small one. Took over 30 mins!
It was good. I still love NY style.

It started to get foggy.
It was also in the upper 60's and felt amazing out. Perfect shorts and sweatshirt weather my favorite.

Cool architecture.
We got back to the car.
Then we had to go back down the tall parking garage, that you wind around. It was crazy coming down.
Then we opted to drive Wrigley Field and Navy Pier.
Winding down the parking garage.

Navy Pier.
We parked and then walked the pier to check it out.

Then a couple walked bye and took our picture.

Seagull.

Love the views here.

Under a cool bridge.

Cool fountain. Famous fountain in Chicago. Then last stop was to eat dinner in China Town???!!
This place is dumpy, like the whole area! Oh geez. Well lets try it! Found the one I found on Pinterest.

So we got a table right away which there wasn't a lot! It took us forever to figure out what to order. So we got beef fried rice, chicken chow mien, and crab rangoon. I feel like we have been eating all day. Lol. The fried rice was amazing, beef was super tender! Yum.
Time to head back to the Airbnb! Great day in Chicago and we saw a lot! Six Flags tomorrow!
