May 27th (Summer House REUNION!!!!!!)

Oh my gosh I have been waiting to watch this the whole season!!
This is so good tv!!

May 26th (1st Day of Summer Officially!)

The day after a trip, I love getting up and relaxing before the girls get up!
I started making some lists and getting extra ideas to do with Ella this summer.
Bring on Summer, I guess! Lol.

May 25th (Going Home)

We left around 9ish.
We ate at a place in Des Moines again, it was kind of like an other place but not as good.
We got home early afternoon, so I was able to make dinner.
I make frozen homemade pizza and Shrimp Creole.

May 24th (Day 3-Minneapolis-Valley Fair Amusement Park/ICE OUT/Tunnel Time/Ice Cream-Sebastian Joes)

We wanted to get to Valley fair when it opened at 10 am.
We pulled in on time and with Ella's handicap sign we could park literally in front of where the line starts to get into the park!

It reminds me of World's of Fun, but even smaller.
It's there 50th Anniversary too! How fun.

Nick and Adelyn jump on the biggest roller coaster here, looks like the mamba. I went with Addie after and it was a little more intense then the mamba.
The little kid coaster, for Ella.
Nick and Addie again.

We saw this one and thought it wouldn't be scary for Ella.
It wasn't scary but it was so jerky! Ugh! We were all in pain. It's like mouse trap! Ugh.

Nick and Adelyn going on this crazy one. That would be a hell no for me and Ella. We found some other rides while they went on others. Then we started to get hungry.

Somalians everywhere in MN, even at the amusement parks!

Adelyn sucking it up to ride this with Ella for us, since Nick and I can't go on spinning rides.
We also got an ICE, ice cream and a funnel birthday cake with ice cream! It was all so good!
We left late afternoon, we rode everything we wanted too with no lines!
Then Nick wanted to do one more thing, go through the tunnel we saw on the highway.
As we have driven around Minneapolis we saw HUNDREDS of ICE OUT signs!! Everywhere!!
Crazy!! These people are ballzy around here.
We had to go to the Tunnel 3 times since Nick kept missing the right highway. Lol.
Then we saw a druggy passed out on the side of the road. His pants are pulled all the way down. Luckily it was just his butt but that is horrible.
Gotta love those Democratic states! MN do better!!

We made it to the tunnel finally! Ha. It wasn't even that long. Nick loves tunnels I guess.

We headed back to the Airbnb to relax, take showers and eat some dinner.
I did another crockpot meal, buffalo chicken pasta. It was good. We got Ella to bed on time so we can get up and out of here tomorrow to get home at a decent hour.
Nick and I snuck away to grab some ice cream that we wanted to get the night before. It is supposed to be one of the best ones around. We waited in a line for 20 mins.
Wasn't that impressed actually! Luckily I just got a small.
(It is loaded with Hipsters EVERYWHERE around here, and this place had all of them in it. Ha.)

 A little insta worthy pic!
It was a good, simple, fast trip to a new state to cross off our list!

May 23rd (Minneapolis-Cute Outside of Airbnb/Donuts/Mall of America/Jingle All the Way Locations/Minnehaha Waterfall-Biking/Sculpture Park)

Look how cute this backyard at our place is. The entrance to our place is on the right here, then the owners live on the other side and they have a separate back door.
(You can't see it because I never took a shot, but they also were growing some "special plants"! Weed is legal here! Oh wow, I have never stayed somewhere were they are growing plants!! Ha.)
The owners are very nice, around our age and gave us some ideas for places nearby that are good.
So we got some donuts from a cute little bakery called Sarah Janes!

They were pretty good, not as good as some places we have had though.
We ate donuts and had some eggs for breakfast.
Then it was time to head out for the day!
Mall of America is 1st on the agenda for the day. I have been when I was a young teenager but I don't remember very much.
The mall is huge. 4 levels.
We walked the whole mall and it was so many steps! I don't have one of those watches but it would say a million. ha.

We walked through the Amusement Park area, but opted not to do any rides since we are going to Valley Fair tomorrow. Ella wanted to ride some but the lines were long!

We had to go into the famous POP MART.
Didn't find anything, it is all expensive anyways.

We ate at the food court. Nick and I got Pizza plus some Asian fried chicken-so good! Adelyn waited 25 mins to get chipotle and Ella got Panda Express. Then as we walked around we saw there was another food court, that looked even better. Oh geez. Ha. We walked the rest of the mall and then decided it was time to go. We didn't even buy anything except a MN t-shirt and ornament.
Next up Jingle all the way home and neighbors house (Ted).
At first we pulled up and we thought it wasn't the house because look at the weird roof, but I looked online and it is the house. I don't know why they did this. Weird. We love the movie Jingle all the Way!
The other house is Teds! So fun.
Pretty church. Lots of pretty churches around the city we saw.
2nd stop of Jingle All the Way-Mickey's Diner. The scene when he is on the pay phone trying to get the Turbo man from the radio station. We didn't eat inside because it is pretty small.
Look at this place we drove by, oh my!
Time to go to Minnehaha water fall.

Top of the water fall.
And why not after walking a huge mall for hours, lets do the bike car together. Well minus Ella because she tried and couldn't do it!
It was pretty comical, all of us laughing. Nick thought he was doing all the work but all 3 of us were doing it together.

I took a video of us and it was funny.

The waterfall is so pretty.
Ella wouldn't take a picture with us.

Look at these people under the waterfall.
Still going, so we headed to The Sculpture Park.
Ella was not doing well at this point, getting tired and not wanting to listen.
She finally got it together so we could go see a few sculptures.
(Ella had been in her wheelchair most of the day so I made her walk the sculpture park a little so she could move her body around, that's why she wasn't happy with me.)

Look at the fun spoon with a cherry.

She did want to take a picture here though.

This rooster is huge!
After this we headed back to the Airbnb. I made a crockpot meal-chicken taco meat. Then heated up some white cheese dip. Boom Chicken Nachos-so easy and yummy!
(Crockpot is the best way to make a meal on vacay!)
We were all tired and just relaxed before bed.
Valley fair tomorrow!
