April 4th (Tax Stuff)

I have been working a lot on the business tax stuff. Ugh! I just want it finished! I am in good shape though. About to send this over and will just need a couple more items to send to accountant! Glad Nick isn't going to be doing much more with the business this year.
I really don't like doing secretary stuff! ha.

March 31st (Happy 19th Anniversary To Nick & I)

I made Chicken A La Mer for dinner tonight, one of Nick's favorites! I think it turned out really well. Yum!
I can't believe it's been this long. Love you honey forever and always! Here's to 60 more years!

March 30th (Easter Egg Hunt @ School-Ella/Chem Trails/Lemonade Jug)

Easter Egg hunt with the helpers at Ella's school today. Kenna helping Ella! Love this!!
Went outside to leave and look what I saw. Wow X marks the spot, right over our house! Ugh!
This is how we make lemonade every week now! Yum. But don't leave the peel's of the lemons or it tastes bitter!

March 28th (New Ice Cream Containers/Anniversary Dinner-J. Gilberts)

New ice cream holders I am going to use for homemade ice cream.
Nick and I went out to dinner for our 19th Anniversary tonight, while my mom came over to watch Ella.
We went to J. Gilberts.
This place was packed, but we had a reservation.
Calamari.
I've had better.

Dinner was ok. We both were disappointed with the quality!
Plain creme brule wish is had more flavor.
It was nice to have time together!

March 27th (Homemade Lemonade)

Yummy homemade lemonade!
It's so easy and the best!!

March 23rd (New Crockpot Round Steak Recipe)

These were easy in the Crockpot and pretty good!

Mar 21st (Volleyball Tournament-MAVS)

Early morning after the vacation is not what we were wanting. But Addie had a volleyball tournament, luckily in Olathe at the Mavs facility!
Go Adelyn!

I didn't take a lot of pictures.
Nick and I switched out on watching. And they didn't play very well! Oh well!

March 20th (Going Home-On the road before the sun came up/St. Louis Arch)

Looks like a rainbow out there!

We made it to St. Louis and got to see the arch.
We got home early for having to drive almost 13 hrs. I was even able to make dinner! We are all tired and ready for an earlier bed time!

March 19th (Day 6:Railway Incline/Rock City/Lunch/Choo Choo Trains/Georgia-Chickamauga Battlefield)

Good Morning. We all slept in a little bit! But it being a tiny house everyone wakes up all at the same time!
We made breakfast and then headed out to the Incline Railway!
This looks so cool.
We only had to wait about 20 mins.

This looks so cool.

There goes the one, Ours is coming down! Yay.

Here we go, u go up backwards to the top.
Then you go to a look out up top, then go back down forward.

What it looks like inside.
The crazy part is there are houses all built right next to the railway! So weird?! It's been here over 100 years, updated of course.

Look how steep we are going! Crazy.
Going next to the other one. They switch in one spot.

And we made it to the top!

The view from the top.

Someone's house is right next door and has lawn chairs sitting out on this cliff! Wow.

Going back down.

We headed up the mountain a little to Rock City, technically it is in Georgia.

We are headed to that cliff to the left.
Rock city, it is a wonder!
Fairytale like place!!

Tight squeeze.

This place just keeps going and going!

Swinging bridge!

The views from the top are amazing.
Lovers leap.

You can see all seven states from here!

Tight squeeze!

She is getting tired from all the walking.

Beautiful.

This place is huge with so many places to check out.
You just go one direction, so super easy to go through.

Kind of creepy. lol.

We had a great time going through Rock City. We are hungry so we found a place near the Choo Choo place we are going to see for Ella for a late lunch.
This place was yummy.
An old train station turned in shops and restaurant, along with a hotel in train cabs!

Hotel rooms, how cool!

Last stop of the day.
Chickamauga Battlefield in Georgia!
It was only about a 15-20 min drive.
Nick wanted to check this place out and Adelyn remembered learning about it in school.
We walked in with an old man, who was a veteran. He told us some info about the war and that he was Dolly Parton's 3rd cousin! Ha.

We walked ALL the way up this tower, like 5 million stairs!!

We all made it to the top. I can't believe Ella made it! Ugh! Too many stairs after going to rock city!

Adelyn went down before us to take our picture! Do you see her!!
There we are!

We headed back to the place, all of us are tired!
I brought my mini crockpot and made a Chicken Pasta dish with it while we were gone all day.
(Good Tip-Bring a Crockpot when you are gone all day on trips!! It works perfectly!!)
We got Ella in bed as soon as possible since we are getting up at 5:30 am tomorrow to drive home all day.
Nick and Addie went to grab us ice cream, while Ella was asleep. Nick found a place he wanted to try. The 1st ice cream place was wayyy better!
Night night!
