August 23rd (Leftover Salmon Lunch/New Hari Do/Ella's Talker)

I had leftover Salmon from dinner and Southwest salad bag my favorite for lunch!! Yummy! I could eat this everyday!!

So I had texted Joanna about getting my haircut last Friday. Then she got a last min cancellation for today at 12:30 pm. Um yes please!!

I looked into some ideas before I headed that way.

My hair is too long!! All I do is put it up in a bun every day!! Need a change and it's too hot.

Bye bye 20 inches of hair!

Thanks girl I love it!! It is so light!!

She has been cutting my hair for 19 years!

It's really gone!

This time it didn't even affect me!!

It grows so fast we shall see if I do it again.

I got this mystery code from school today again!

Heather, one of Ella's Para's has been sending me codes on Ella's tablet. The other day it was to tell me that Ella and Lily got hit by the new little boy Bryson! He is having anger issues and just hit the kids at different times in the morning for no reason. Ugh!! Not what I wanted to hear. 

Bryson was taken out of the school for the rest of yesterday, then today was gone and will maybe gone the rest of the week. I feel bad for his parents but also want my kid safe!!

 

August 22nd (Ella Selfie)

We were at Ella's neurology appointment and she took a selfie while I was talking to her doctor! Lol.

We are going to get some genetic testing done on me to see if I have the same diagnosis as my brother, myotonic dystrophy since I have few things that could be or could be getting older? Not sure. But I see signs in Ella so I need to get tested first! We shall see.

 

August 21st (Looking at Model Homes)

We didn't actually have anything going on for once in a long time!

So I convinced Nick to go look at some houses for fun and get some ideas.

Adelyn wouldn't come so we had just Ella.

Liked this black countertop maybe for basement bar top that we have never done yet?

Your own personal Atrium at this house?! Crazy. Ella posing for me. Lol.

We like the outside look of this house, not necessarily the stone but the colors and the cedar posts. We are going to have to paint and fix the outside probably this fall.

Love this flooring. Want to redo flooring on main level to something like this.

Near Mills Farms there is a new little Farm Playground.

We stopped for Ella but only stayed a little while since it was so hot outside!!

August 20th (Home this Weekend-Neighbor Swim/Oliver Hurt)

I think all the neighbors agreed to coming over!! Ha. Hot outside but cold in the pool! I think it was 70 something.

They had a great time! I kicked everyone out a little after 4 to have some time as a family and make dinner.

Got into bed tonight and this little man came to lay with me. He was walking with a limp with his front paw since yesterday. Must have jumped on it wrong in the night! He has been staying in at night now and cuddling! Naughty Kitty, hope it's not broken.
 

August 19th (Appetizer Night)

Made Appetizers for dinner tonight. 

I tried a new crab dip recipe, yummy!!

Everyone usually agrees they love the food on this night!

 

August 18th (Nick Working/Selfie)

Nick working today on an mini excavator he rented for a job. 1st time running one, great job.

We watched a show on Netflix about people getting sexy/nude photos put onto the internet. 

So I was joking around and sending a sexy photo, NOT! Ha.

 

August 17th (Torchy's w/Friends/Volleyball Tryout Results)

Look at these two cuties with their fancy drinks, Pina Colada Cooler I think.

I met Ruth, Lizzie and April at Torchy's for back to school lunch!! It was nice to catch up with them. I just saw Ruth but still lots to talk about.

The results were posted early around 6 ish for Volleyball tryouts!! Yay, Adelyn made it!! I am so excited for her. I thought she would but you never know!! She was thrilled!

August 16th (My Old Childhood Home)

Today I went with my friend Ruth to an Estate Sale before we went to Costco.

She turned on Antioch and then I was like, "are we going into Canterbury Estates?" She said yes! Then turned on my old street of Woodward. Ha. My old house was 3 houses down from the Estate sale!! The trees are huge now! I didn't find anything at Estate Sale but it was so fun being by my old house again.

Then we headed to Costco were I bought some stuff! Fun day with my friend.

 

August 15th (Ella Cutting)

Ella came home wanting to cut by herself! Ok, great job!

 

August 14th (Bye Bye Lake of the Ozarks)

Going home even though I think a few of us wanted to stay longer!!

It was really nice just having 4 this year. Easy going and a lot of rest time together!! 

Got home around 2:30. Wish I would have stayed away a little longer, maybe house would have been more picked up!

 I literally pulled into my house with Jeff Lyon's big mower in my spot on driveway so I had to go yell at him down the street to move it! Then Nick was tree trimming again, which I didn't want to happen so that's why he was doing it when I was gone! Ugh! I walked into the kitchen with EVERY single big bib, little bib, sippy cup and new Ella's cups sitting on one side of the sink. The kitchen was sticky and yucky all over!! I was PISSED!! And all Nick said was, "I thought you were getting home later?" Ugh!! So I put my stuff down and started cleaning Ella's stuff because she needed some for school. Prepped for school tomorrow and then asked what was for dinner. "Oh I thought you were going to make something?" Said Nick to me! Ummm what?? I was just out of town driving and dropping everyone else. Ugh!! I went upstairs and relaxed before I made quesadillas for the girls and baked potato for me! So Annoyed and he didn't even care. He stayed out in the garage and didn't help with Ella! It just makes me not want to go out of town anymore because I returned to this rudeness! Sometimes I just want Nick to do things like I do for him everyday. But I just need a couple times a year!! Men suck sometimes!! Why couldn't I have been a lesbian! Ha.
