July 30th (Parthenon/Belle Meade Plantation/Splash Park/Gaylord Opryland Hotel!)

Parthenon

                                                           These two cuties!!

This place was super cool...very big and fun to walk around with.

 We hit up starbucks for a quick snack and then off to the Belle Meade Plantation we went!!
               We took a tour of the Mansion but you couldn't take pictures inside. Then we walked around to see the stables, winery, slaves cabin, and other little buildings on the property.

 My Aunt Stephanie lives in Nashville and met up with us to go on the plantation and to lunch. It was so awesome to see her....it had been about 6 1/2 years since we have seen her. Miss her so much.

We swung by the Bluebird Cafe to get a quick pic and then to get a meat and three which is a big thing around here!!

Fancy neighborhood we drove bye.

Our meat and 3 restuarant...pretty good but not the one we wanted to go to but it was closed. Then we hit up the dairy dip for some ice cream! They have huge twist cones for pretty cheap.

 Aunt Stephanie had to run home for a while to let her dogs out and to take a rest. We headed to the splash park to have some more fun!!

The splash park is right off the river...very pretty done on the river.

Somebody is super happy!!

 After some water fun in the HOT HOT heat we headed back to the hotel to rest before we left to get dinner and to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel!
Well we thought it would only take a short while to get Which Which sandwiches but it was by Grand Ole Opry which had a concert about to happen so it took forever to go to the mall which was super packed to get dinner. Crazy but we made it and we walked around the mall a bit...super big and PACKED!!!
After some dinner we walked across mall parking lot to see Grand Ole Opry and then over to the Hotel. It was a nice night for walking.

Gaylord Opryland Hotel

This place is huge and awesome!! All I can say is WOW!!

Log where the girls could look at nature things.

 I think it would be so much fun to stay here if you can get a good deal on a hotel room...you might get lost going to it but it would be an adventure.

We got to watch a fountain show with lights and to music...pretty cool.

This place just went on and on forever.

 Loved seeing my aunt she is so awesome and how I wished she lived closer to us! We had a great day of hanging with her and chatting.

They even have a radio station in the hotel. Lol.

After my Aunt left we decided it wouldn't be to far to walk back to the parking spot and the mall. But it took FOREVER!! So we got to bed a little late but we are so excited to head to the beach tomorrow morning!!
