McCormick Distillery (Weston, MO)
Lets kick this birthday/girls trip off with vodka shots!! Wahoo.
Janet and Crystal
We were first taken on a shuttle bus to go tour the distillery.
Lizzie and I.
April M and Bekah.
Holladay is the owner of this distillery. It was a fun tour. Really nice place and perfect day to walk around...not to hot!
You can have wedding receptions or events here. It would be very pretty.
They are now making bourbon...this is where they keep it in barrels.
The cool shuttle we rode on...now it was time to go try some alcohol!! McCormick makes 360 vodka which is super yummy. I tried apple..not very good and then huckleberry...super yummy. I also tried chocolate from some one and cupcake.
We also got a sample of huckleberry vodka with lemonade. It tastes just like a blueberry lemonade.
We drove two cars...I drove my car and Lizzie drove her van. So as we drove off we played my "Milkshake brings all the boys to the floor!!" We were all cracking up laughing to the song. I then made everyone hop out to take a picture with the McCormick sign.
Next stop the Pirtle Winery with a picnic lunch, which we all supplied things to go with wine!!
Picnic basket for supplies, yet they didn't make it in the basket/too many.
So as April M. said PINTEREST fail!! lol.
This is how we roll...hobby lobby bag with all the loot! lol
We had two tables full of yummy snacky food!! It was all delicious.
Ruth's birthday cake we bought her.
She was so excited and it was super yummy...carrot cake.
We went in groups of 4 to wine taste....I didn't like any of the wines. Not sweet enough. But the wine slushies were pretty good. Crystal and I taking a quick selfie together.
April T said if you keep your arm down to your side it makes it look fat so Crystal and I did silly pictures after the nice one. She is one crazy fun chick!! Love her! Plus the slushy was kicking in!
The last one is my favorite..lol.
Next group Janet, Lizzie, April M and Ruth.
We checked into the cottage and then headed out to shop around Weston. Very cute little town.
We also stopped by the little market and gas station to get lemonade to mix with huckleberry vodka and I grabbed some bubbly moscato beringer wine...only $5!! Score and it tasted amazing.
Hanging at the cottage...Janet and Crystal had to go home so they hitched a ride with an uber. So I had to take a picture of the license plate just in case.
Time to start boozing it up!!
April M...she doesn't ever drink so she had some moscato with Bekah and I.
She figured she should go ahead and take a mug shot!! lol
Plus her outfit really added to it.
Time to go eat finally about 30 mins late..oops.
Pretty spot for a picture ladies.
Strike a pose April!
April thought I was to drunk and didn't think I knew what I was doing...but I got everyone in it...then she ruined the shot with her peace sign!
Then the second was blurry...boo.
Tin Kitchen for dinner...bbq.
After a yummy dinner...that helped me sober up just a bit it was time to hit up the Oh Mallay's Irish Pub!! It was pretty cool..you go down stairs to a basement with two levels of bars. Cellar like bars. We met some guys that are from ireland and germany. (below)
Pretty girls.
These guys were crazy and fun to watch.
We got Ruth to wear Ireland's cape! lol
Bekah wanted these beads that were hanging so I helped her get them.
They started getting sick of me taking pictures..lol.
I convinced the German guy to grab me some beads I spotted!! yay for beads and alcohol.
We are getting sillier!!
Ruth getting social..asking what the blue slushy drinks were.
Look how sassy.
This is the guy that took our pic!
We headed back to the cottage but Ruth, April t, and I decided to head out to the next bar RJ's. So we just walked fueled by alcohol, nice night and a short 4 block radius.
Here is a photo of us on our way to the bar. We literally walked through a neighborhood so totally safe.
Ruth being silly.
Well we hit the jack pot at this bar...they played rap music and whatever we wanted. Whoop whoop. It was a local bar full of locals. Everyone was very nice and we even got some shots on the house. They also used red solo cups for beer...lol. Very fun way to end the night.
Our pretty bed in breakfast.
What a fun filled weekend with lots of friends. Happy Birthday Ruth!!
