October 10th (New Salt/Horrible Night Out-Nothing Worked Out!)

I used my new salt from Ruth, all the way from France.

Well tonight was not a good night for us.

I planned to have a fun night out with just Nick, Adelyn and I. We had Micah come watch Ella. And we planned to head to Halloween Haunt @ World's of Fun. 

Well unfortunately we got stuck on the highway in a line to world's of fun, then we finally got off the highway and waited longer. Then we were able to go up around the huge line and we figured out why it was so backed up-the Parking Lot was CLOSED and there wasn't anywhere that told people. So we circled around to go to the Ocean's of Fun parking lot and the line to get into World's of Fun was so backed up plus we saw the Mamba and it was a GIGANTIC line we decided not to go in. Ugh!

Don't worry it gets worse! Ha.

Then I had the idea to go to the Haunted Houses downtown, Adelyn has never been and we haven't been since early 2000's!

So there was a line but we bought tickets online and got in the smallish line, seemed like we would wait about an hour.

Well that wasn't true it was super long and they kept letting in the VIP people on the other side. Nick wanted VIP and we didn't buy them. So we had to wait. They had time slots but didn't honor them at all. Ugh. So finally after 2 1/2 hours we got to the front and....we didn't have wrist bands. Whatt???? I guess online it said to go to another place an hour early to get a wrist band that you signed a waiver in person. So we headed over there a block away and there wasn't a line since it was already 10 something. We found out it was going to take too long to go through the haunted house and get home to let Micah leave. Ugh! Now it did say it on their website but if you don't read that and just buy tickets it doesn't say anything about a waiver which is what I did!!

The best part was they won't give you your money back no matter what. Back in the early 2000's there wasn't a waiver!! 

So Adelyn got upset and cried the whole way home. We were all in a bad mood after waiting to do nothing all night. But we just told her sometimes things don't work out for a reason. I haven't had a bad night like that in a very long time! I just felt bad for Addie, I know she wanted to make memories with us without Ella!

Then we had to go home and pay Micah, most expensive non fun night ever!

We did see the "Brat Rat", the Rat Mans daughter!

We all wore scream shirts to match too!

Edge of Hell.

This line is like 2 times longer than when we started. The VIP thing isn't really fair because they didn't let barely any regular pay people in. I won't be going back-ever!!
