December 23rd (Negative Degrees/Ella Advent/Baking w/Grandma Joy/Texas Roadhouse w/Auntie Lisa & Brennen)

It is so cold outside!! Says -35 windshield and negative outside!

Last Advent for Ella.

A new Squishmallow, Holiday Cat!

Grandma came over a little later, 10 ish to decorate sugar cookies!

Get too it ladies, 51 cookies to go!!

Ella did some sprinkles this year on about 5 or 6!

I made and baked m& m, chocolate chip and worked on doing all the white chocolate stuff!!

I got us matching shirts last year but we had Covid, luckily they still fit this year!

I felt super busy, so I forgot to take a pic before my mom took some treats.

I love baking but it is time consuming and tiring for sure!

Thanks for your help mom.

I sent her home with treats and chicken fajita soup.

My mom brought treats also that she made yesterday to combine with mine from yesterday.

We like to go out to dinner with Auntie Lisa and Brennen to exchange presents. Then I don't have to cook or prep anything since we are so busy these few days!!

We met at Texas Roadhouse in Olathe.

(They almost didn't make it, their pipes froze but Aubree shut off the water since she was home)

Lots of people have been having issues with pipes with this weather.

I gave Lisa holiday socks filled with a $25 Starbucks card and fun little goodies. Brennen and Aubree got a $50 gift card to Texas Roadhouse for a date night!

The girls got gingerbread things to build, candy and a Target gift card.

I love how they have call ahead. This place was packed. We got here at 5 pm. It was nice catching up and eating dinner I didn't have to make or clean up! We headed home. I am exhausted and ready to relax on the couch!

I will wait to pass these out tomorrow to the neighbors, its too cold and I am too tired! 

I made up 12 treat buckets! Wow! Almost ran out of cookies for us!

Wednesday Adams show, love it! Great to watch as a family!
