April 18th (Basement Painting Party)

 Basement is coming together!!

 We let the girls help us paint in their reading nook area tonight!

They did a great job and loved it!

Its a family effort to get this basement back in shape!!

April 16th (4th Grade Field Trip to Topeka)

We made it on time!! Whoop whoop!

Lizzie, Pamela, Erin, Heidi and I all rode together to Topeka!!

They are here fresh off the bus without air conditioning! Ha. Sorry girls.

Time to head up to the top of the capitol!!

 Daphne got up this high and started to freak out and she got a nose bleed, but Addie and I are headed to the top!

Wow we are going all the way up there!! You start to get winded the higher you go up!!

A little scared...but maybe a once and a lifetime experiences so I am going.

State library...you walk on glass! Pretty cool.

 Our tour guide was so animated, telling them about the history. He had grandkids that went to RP! How neat.

 After the capitol we headed to the park across from the zoo!!
The kids ate lunch and then got to run around before heading to the bus.

Us moms left and headed to chick fila for a much deserved treat!!

Love field trips but they sure are exhausting!!
