December 22nd (Nursing home visit/Presents!!)

The girls and I met our friends Lizzie, Daphne and Violet at Chick Filla. I have not eaten here since it opened in Olathe. (Which I found out was 9 years ago...lol.) So I tried it again since it was a free food day...it was ok...weird eating chicken in the morning. I will try again another day...since Lizzie said she can't be friends with me if I don't like it. J/K

                 Bekha (Tucker's mom) thought of the idea to make cards for the nursing home right up the street and bring them to the older people there. The kids had fun making cute cards...I also made a few!

 The kids were super sweet to deliver all these cards and muffins to the older people. They were super sweet and really enjoyed all the kids.This was a great thing to give back. We need to keep this up!!

We had to cancel our Benton/Tompkin's/Simmon's Christmas party tonight since the Tompkin's are sick. So I let my kids open a present to ease the pain of not having the party. Adelyn didn't like hers at first but then gave it a shot and loved all the princess pets with the book. Geez! This kid is killing me.
