January 27th (Making Treats/Father/Daughter Dance)

These look so yummy!
Got stuff ready for Erica's birthday event tomorrow.
Then it was the Father/Daughter dance tonight. Ella was so excited!
Pretty girl ready to go to Texas Roadhouse with her Daddy and the dance!

Looking so pretty and handsome.

After Nick and Ella left for dinner, Adelyn  and I hit up Jasmine Pavilion for some Chinese.
We watched Pretty Little Liars together that I rented from the library and ate our dinner on the couch!
I told I used to do this all the time in college!
Nick sent me pictures after they got home.

They had games and prizes too.

Nick said when they walked into the dance all the girls were like, Ella. She was a celebrity Nick said. lol
Nick said they had so much fun dancing. Ella really loved and had a happy face!! They danced a lot! I also appreciated all the pictures! Nick and Ella left a few minutes early to swing by to get us all some ice cream from Freddy's! Yum, thanks honey. And to finish our night Nick and I ate ice cream and watched Yellowstone!

January 26th (Band Travel to School's Day For Adelyn)

Adelyn all ready for her day of traveling to 3 elementary schools for band.
Choir, band, and orchestra our traveling to Regency Place, Heatherstone and Bentwood today to perform for the kids. They also made a stop at Oak Park Mall for lunch in the food court.
Adelyn didn't want me to be a chaperone, so I didn't. That's ok I haven't been feeling well sand I have things to get done for Erica's up coming birthday!

January 25th (Snow Day/Ella out in the Snow)

Such a pretty sight!
So the kids are off school today, even though it wasn't very cold or a lot of snow! Boo! Ella was so excited though. She went out for a little while today with Nick!

Happy Snow Day, I guess. Lol.

January 24th (Tuesday)

Beautiful outside this morning!

Ella has had a cold since Friday and even though the girls rested all weekend she still wasn't feeling good today. I took her to school a little later but she said she wanted to go!

(Adelyn hurt her ankle in practice last Thursday so she rested all weekend making sure to feel better!)

January 23rd (Treats This Week/Brass Onion Date Night)

I made Monster Cookies and Coconut Pound cake.
Cookies are yummy, not some much the cake even though it looks great!!
The consistency with cakes sometimes aren't good? Weird.
Then tonight I surprised Nick with a date night, we haven't had one in a long time.
Last week I was looking for specials during the week and I found that Brass Onion has been here for 5 years. So they are celebrating this week with $5 specials each day.
Well on Monday it said $5 Fried Chicken Meal!! Say Whattt??? That is so cheap!!

They also had a dueling piano going on while we ate! Fun!
Happy date night!
So everything except the green beans was $5! I added green beans for $6, lol. And Nick added a salad to his! All in all we spent $34 with a tip!! The food was great! Nice time spending the night out with hubby!

January 21st (Pantry Cleaned Out/Chiefs Playoffs vs. Jaguars)

Nick painted with killz.
This afternoon the Chiefs are playing the Jaguars!
1st playoff game, lets go Chiefs!
Enjoying a Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat, yummy!
Lets go Chiefs!!
(The Chiefs won!!! Yay!!)

January 19th (Nick home)

We are going to re do the old laundry room to be turned into the Pantry.
I am excited to have a walk in pantry and have everything organized! yay!
Nick was home today, getting some things gone around here. Headed up to Menards, are new favorite store..lol. Going to buy a cabinet to put into our pantry to hold broom and mop or things like that! So fun spending money.

January 18th (Torchy's w/Friends/Ella's 1st Band Concert)

Met Lizzie, Ruth and April M for Torchy's today for the first time in forever.
We had been trying to get together, but our plans kept getting messed up with Covid and a kid got sick.
So today was the day to catch up and hang out!

Then tonight Ella had her first band concert at FT for 5, 5th grades, 6th grade and the Jazz band at FT.
I thought she should have had another concert before such a big one, but not sure if I like her band teacher very much!
She was so so excited for us to come watch her, along with my parents!

Waiting patiently to perform.
It took forever!!
There is her name.

One of Ella's para's has been helping her.
This has been great because I have no. Lol.
Happy girl.
She is playing on a practice drum, which didn't make me happy. I thought she would get to play a real drum during the performance! I am going to email the band teacher, see why I might not like him! He never communicates either. Annoying!
I took this picture because of the lady in the red hat!!
Oh my gosh she was practically standing where the kids were performing taking videos of her child! So weird, plus her outfit was interesting as well!
She was crazy, her daughter was the tall girl in this picture closets to me.
What a great night for Ella, she was so happy!!
