June 28th (Petroglyph's Hike/Rio Grande River/Cheba Hut/Sign/Rattlesnake/Shopping/Sandia Peak Tram)

 

Good Morning Albuquerque!!

Pretty view this morning. We got up and I made breakfast to be ready for the day! Off we went around 9ish. Nick saw a roadrunner in the road when we were leaving our parking lot.

1st stop of the day!!

We are going to climb to the top of that!!

Luckily they have a cold front moving through so it was only in the 70's!

Here we go, hopefully Ella will do ok!

The climb was a little difficult but Ella made it!! Great job Ella. Now time to go find the Rio Grande and to eat lunch.

Love the houses that were nearby.

We found a park that had access to the Rio Grande so we could see it.

Not the view we were looking for...lol. But we saw it and there we go!! HaHa.

Ella didn't want to take a picture, everyone was starting to get Hangry!!

We drove by the Giant Rattlesnakes!! So fun!

We decided to get lunch downstairs from our Apartment at Cheba Hut!! Sooooo yummy!!

We hung out a little bit and then headed out to find the Albuquerque Sign and to shop a little more in Old Town.

Did a little shopping at Old Town. Found an ornament for our tree, Ella got a flip big eye, we got fudge and truffles. Plus a cat painting for our neighbors that have helped watch our animals.

Time to head to the Sandia Tram!! Looks like rain near the mountain though.

You have a time slot and then show up to go on the tram. So we waited about 45 minutes because of rain but then opted to go since there is no lightening or thunder;

The Mountain is a little bigger than I thought!!

These 2 enjoyed the ride the most.

Can't see anything up here unfortunately!! But that's ok. I was ready to go back down anyways.

Ella loved going back down for some reason! She was super happy.

That is what we went up on!! Crazy high!!

We headed back to the apartment to make some chicken tender salad for dinner. Then we watched Multiplicity and grabbed so treats from Cheba Hut and Wich Wich Sandwich for dessert!

We had a fun day of discovers!! Last night in Albuquerque then we head to Munds Park tomorrow morning with a few stops along the way!!
