June 27th (Cadillac Ranch/Blue Hole/Albuquerque Airbnb/Old Town/Sadie's)

We woke up this morning and went down to get breakfast. It was ok, a little more Covid friendly so they didn't have waffles or oatmeal with all the toppings, which is my favorite!
We left to head to Cadillac Ranch to spray paint!!

Walking up and they even had a coffee food truck!

We are here!!
Nick did our last name.

Helping Ella.

Nick thought of the idea to do our last name and 2021 on the ground! Love it.

Nick and I got a cappuccino and chair tea latte before we hit the road.

I took lots of pictures as we drove! Lots of cattle farms!! Wow!

The terrain is changing a bit almost to New Mexico.

Our stop along the way to Albuquerque was in Santa Rosa, The Blue Hole!! Its a big blue natural hole that is around 61 degrees. We thought it was going to be hot in New Mexico like 90 to 100 degrees, but not they were having a cool front and it was only 65 degrees out!! Ha. We chose to just put our feet in!

I love that my whole family are in jackets because the air was so cold.

Divers come here from all over to dive!
Hard to capture the blue but it was bluer in person.

We ate some snacks and then we were going to go to the next town to get lunch but it was really far away. So we went to one of the slowest Mcdonald's we have ever been too!! I think we were there for over an hour!! Horrible, but the town is small and a lot of tourists!
On the road to Albuquerque!! I love the clouds with the road.

Mountains.
Wow its so gorgeous.

Crazy highways here!!

Our home away from home!! 3rd floor apartment in a small complex near a lot of food places.

The kids room.
And Ella has been so excited to go on the top bunk!!
Super fun.
Nick and I's room.
(Side Note: We get to actually sleep in a bed that isn't on the floor)
Master bath isn't done yet.
Our view!! So pretty.

A cactus!
After we got settled in we headed out to go check out Old Town Albuquerque!

I see Pueblos!!
A lady passing by told us this is an Agave plant, what they make Tequila out of!! How cool!
Cute little shopping area.
This place was full of breakables!!

Ella really wanted this hat! Price-$5, no problem!! Great purchase Ella.
She also looks adorable.

Very pretty decorations.

Love these!!
These two cute college age girls took our photos, they always do a great job!!
I took theirs as well!
Very old church in the square!
Headed to dinner at Sadie's! We first went to one Sadie's but they were packed so luckily another one was only 15 minutes away and had a 15 min wait!! Sold! Our neighbor told us to eat here and I found good reviews online also.

The salsa is a little spicier than ours around here, but the cheese dip and guac was yummy. No deep fried tacos like KS, but it was pretty good food! Nick and Adelyn LOVED the Sopapillas with honey.
We hit up a grocery store for a few things then headed back to take showers and head to bed!
Top bunk for the first time for Ella!!
This had a great safety bar, she was SOOOOO excited!
Had been talking about top bunk for months!

Ready for more adventures tomorrow!!
