June 29th (Donuts/Leaving Albuquerque/Arizona/Petrified Forest/Meteor Crater/Black Barts Steakhouse/AirBnb Munds Park)

We woke up, got donuts and packed up to head to Petrified Forest!! yay!

These donuts were delicious!!

Last photo from our view!

Hitting the road to Arizona we got to see amazing scenery!!

Another Train.

Going through the rocks.

Church in the hills.

Way different around here than in KS.

Wow these rocks are sooo cool!!

We stopped for lunch at Blakes Lotaburger. We have seen these everywhere and finally tried one. It was yummy! But it took awhile to get it! Got back on the road to the Petrified forest!

Loving these clouds and the way it all looks!

Great backdrop with the sign!

Headed into the Petrified Forest to see the Painted Desert and Petrified Wood.
Wow this is gorgeous!
This is AMAZING!!

The weather was amazing and the puffy clouds just add to the pictures!!

Soooo cool!!

This is a must see in life!!

It's BIG like Ella does!!

These were the bathrooms.

You could take pictures here all day.
Ella finally saying its SOOOO BIGGGG!!

Every spot is beautiful!!

Driving to go find more!!

Tent rocks!

Amazing!!

I mean the pictures are so cool looking! Can't wait to make a photo book!!
A nice couple took these and I took theirs! Yay!

Starting to see Petrified Wood, we saw a path to one so went to check it out!
This wood is SOOO AMAZING!! It crystalizes!!

WOW!!
Love this one!!

Don't let this picture fool you, she was actually scared and yelling!! Ha.

Great shot with Adelyn.

These were really neat and you could walk down a steep hill to look around but Ella wasn't having it or Addie. We were here for a few hours! And it was getting warmer.

Walking back to the car.

We found the Petrified wood area!

At the end near the souvenir shop they have the Gigantic Petrified Wood Pieces!

The BIGGEST one!!

We left the Forest and tried to get a piece of Petrified Wood from the souvenir shop but they didn't have any. So when we left this place had a bunch they were selling! Ugh sounds good to us! We found a pretty nice size one for around $40!! I love it!
This was a piece of polished wood! Pretty.
Time to hop on Route 66 and head to the Meteor Crater!!

Then we drove by this cute Tipee Motel that was the inspiration for the Cone Motel in Cars! Fun!

So there are a bunch of fires going on in Arizona and California. So you can see the smoke we are about to drive into!
Interesting place I spotted, and its really smoky!
We got to the Meteor Crater before a storm came rolling in for a bit!

WOOOOWWW!! This is HUGE!!

We went inside these doors to have a 4D experience of flying in a space ship down to the meteor crater. Our chairs moved and it was super fun! Ella was a little scared.
Time to hit the road to Flagstaff to get some dinner!!
I called ahead to a steak place.
Rain to the left!

Rainbow!!

The restaurant was in an RV Park and we could still see the Rainbow.
This place had amazing reviews and your waiter or waitress will sing on stage! Cool.
They had matches?? When's the last time you have seen these somewhere?
They had a lot of old school stuff to look at there!
Everyone loved the food and the singing was great!
I would recommend anyone to go here.
We headed to Walmart which didn't have a normal super Walmart amount of food but we found everything except for a few things.
It's getting late and we need to still drive to Munds Park which is about 15 to 20 mins from Flagstaff.
These trees are gorgeous!
We made it to our little A frame house in the woods! (In a Neighborhood, but very nice area)
Nick and I's room.
There were 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms.
Love the living room, they also include Disney Plus, Netflix and Hulu!
2nd Bedroom on mainfloor.
This became our clothes room!
Adelyn was tired.

The girls room was up in the loft!! Plus they had their own tv! They loved this space!
After showers we hit the hay because tomorrow is the Grand Canyon!!! I am so excited!!
