You could see fires going to Phoenix!
Hope they can put them out sooner than later! So sad!
About an hour into our drive you can find BIG Cactus everywhere!!!
It's getting hotter!
I see the City!Palm trees too!! Yay!
Going into a cool tunnel.
We are headed to Hole In the Rock!!
Nick got to hug his Cactus!!
Ella trying to hug one too! Ha.
Saw this cute little rodents, I guess they are called a Round-Tailed Ground Squirrel!
Time to hike in this HOT HOT weather!
Nice view from up here!
Adelyn found a seat.
Ella did not like hiking up and didn't like being there! Oh Ella.
Up high!!
Family Photo, Ella didn't want to take it!! Haha.
Everyone is hot and hungry, time to go find some lunch!
Cute of these 2!I found a fun place called Culinary Dropout, that had Amazing reviews! So we waited about 30 minutes then we got to eat and it was sooooo YUMMY!
This place is fun inside!
Trying a local beer that has a white chocolate after taste.
Nick loves white chocolate, and he loved this beer!
We were super hungry so we had to try a lot of stuff.
These wings were the most delicious thing ever!! Big pretzel bites with cheese, the girls really liked these.I ordered fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cole slaw and a biscuit to share with Ella. It was great!
Beer fish and fries for Addie, very good.
Nick got a barbeque chicken salad, he loved it.
Getting hotter out!
Palm trees. On our way to find one of the BIGGEST cactus in the area, which happened to be in an outdoor mall. (Which the mall was not good, no stores left anymore, Sad.)There is the giant Cactus...it's huge!
We found the Phoenix sign also.
More Cactus.
And it is getting hotter!!
We found the beer Nick tried at the restaurant so he bought some to bring home.
Time to hit the road back to Munds Park.
Unfortunately the fires were worse outside Phoenix on our way home.
Big Cactus.
It was really bad looking.
Very pretty heading back to Munds Park!! We got back and made dinner. I did some more laundry so I wouldn't have as much to do when we got back home. Then we got stuff packed up and ready to go to Santa Fe tomorrow!!
