June 26th (Trip Day 1: Amarillo TX-Golden Chick/Embassay Suites/Ice Cream)

Here we go around 7:30 am to TX!!

Made it to Oklahoma, then it was time to get some lunch at the Golden Chick!

It was pretty good! Chicken Tenders, Fried Chicken and Fried Catfish!

On the road again to TX!!

We made it to the hotel around 3:30!! Yay!

This place is super fancy, only 3 years old. Very clean also.

They just opened Happy Hour again after being shut down from covid for a year! 

Yay free beer before we got dinner.

Well we ate at a not very good Italian Restaurant then hit up a diner for some ice cream!

The oreo shake was amazing!

Time to head back to the hotel to get up and eat breakfast before we head to The Cadillac Ranch!!
