May 4th (3rd day in Galveston...Souvenirs/Beach/Ferry!)

Oh Adelyn your many faces...lol. This morning I was feeling much better and we made a yummy breakfast and enjoyed it on the patio. Ready for the fun day.
So cute.

Let's go look for some souvenirs.
First stop Murdochs...very cute place on the water.

The huge shell outside the shop.
I loved the way this place looked right on the water. It said inside that it had been re built 4 times from hurricanes. Wow.
After we got a few things it was time to go swimming on the beach again.

My sand baby Ella!!
She would get close and run up and then immediately run away. She was so much fun to watch.

Love this one of her watching Daddy and Adelyn in the waves.

Love the angle of this one.

                                                                          Very happy girls.

Our Sand Castle.
                                                                    Family Picture Time.

All the seagulls.
After some fun in the sun we headed back to the condo to relax, take showers and get ready for dinner.
We chose the Saltgrass Steak House. It looked like it was going to be a lot like longhorn and be a little cheaper than some of the restaurants around there.

They ended up having a great deal on a meal. Steak and shrimp for $12.99...heck yay. I also got my shrimp stuffed with cream cheese, bacon wrapped and had barbecue sauce on top. Which sounds weird but was super good. Nice restaurant.
We wanted to hit up this old fashioned candy/milk shake shop so we headed quickly to this cute little main street they had. Along the way we saw some beautiful homes.

This shop was amazing...and since we got there 30 minutes before closing we were the only ones there! Sweet. They had so much chocolate and candy.

We chose a chocolate milk shake, some candy and cookie dough ice cream. All of very good. We headed outside to enjoy.

Old telephone booth.
Time to go on the ferry we were suppose to go in the morning, but someone had fallen over board or jumped. They never found them which was horrible, but they were thinking it was on purpose so we wanted to still check it out. On our way we saw some more beautiful homes.
This is a neighborhood...it seemed so southern around there.
Love how tall the palm trees were.

The trees were amazing!

We made a quick stop to get a water bottle and were off to the ferry that we got to drive on with our car!! Awesome. We got just before they left...perfect timing. Along with perfect time a day...we got to see the sun set. Amazing pictures!

This lady fed the seagulls...cheetos!! lol...she let us do it also. She did it with her mouth. hahaha.
                                                                        Love this family picture.

This is what the ferry looks like.

You have to get back in your car to exit the ferry and then turn around to get back on...but it takes you to Polivar Island. So I said lets explore a little then go back. They had amazing houses on stilts.
A lighthouse right at the beginning.
Is this cool or what??

Loved this shot also...I found a bunch of shells here.
Coming back on the ferry it was night time...so it was very pretty also, windy and more rough. lol

All the cars on the ferry..ours is the white car on right.
The ferry was my favorite thing! Everyone liked it and enjoyed seeing the sunset. I also loved the island, so different then Missouri/Kansas. Loving life!
