Woke up a little early today. I never sleep good the first night. So I got on my phone to look into places we should go. I had tagged stuff on Pinterest but hadn't finalized. Nick slept till 8 ish. Then we headed out to walk to a breakfast place.

So pretty out on our walk, it wasn't hot outside yet.

I got a Chai Tea like normal, not sweet so I had them add some vanilla syrup. Still wasn't the best. Boo.
We walked back to our place to freshen up and get the car to head out for some exploring!

City scape on our way back to our place. We got back and ate our leftover doughnuts! Went to bed around 10:30, 4:00 wake up call tomorrow! Ugh!
There is a street near the capitol that has a bunch of murals you can walk to up and down the street.

1st up The Emporium.
This is the place the guys go to hang out, they had pool tables in movie.

Next up was the High school, but it doesn't look exactly like movie. Hard to tell where it was filmed. So I didn't take any pics.
So we headed to Top Notch Drive In!

Well we found a place to eat. But it was brunch and we really wanted LUNCH! Brunch is very big out here, I guess people sleep in a lot because of all the drinking?? Haha.
So we left the place and headed to Eldorado Mexican Restaurant, that had great reviews. We waited about 15 mins and got seated.
Nick got street tacos.
I got chicken flautas, yum!
Our food was good.
Time to go explore a little more and to find the donut place I was wanting to try.

We got 2, they are huge. I got strawberry shortcake, Nick got a brownie smores one.
We only at 1/2 of each and took the rest back to our place.
Headed back to apartment to get ready for the wedding.
We were running out the door!!
Had to drive to Hutto, about 30 mins away.

After the donuts on a stick instead of cake, we left. It was 9ish and have to get up early in the morning to catch our flight!
