September 8th (Flying to Austin, TX-Rental Car/Sentral Studio Apartment/Culinary Dropout/Rehearsal Dinner/Amy's Ice Cream)

We got the girls off to school then left to go eat Bagels from Einstein Bro's and to Starbuck's because is it even vacation without Starbuck's?? Lol.
Got to the airport around 10:30 am for our 11:45 am flight.
We got in quick so we walked around the airport a little bit since we didn't have time when we went to Mexico.
Found Cinnabon, yummy!

We flew Southwest, which I don't think I have flown or not for a long time! Well we got checked in late, but we were able to sit in the very last row next to each other! Ha.
We got to Austin around 1:30ish.
Got a fancy car to drive and headed to our place. Wow way easier without the kids. Lol.
We talked with Andy and we were invited to go to Rehearsal Dinner.
But by this time it was around 2:30 and we hadn't had lunch so we left to head out of the city to meet up. But we needed to eat something before we got there.
Cute area we found with restaurant's.
We chose this place because they had a restaurant we loved from Phoenix, Culinary Dropout!
It was so delicious in Arizona.
Cool Mural.

A lot of restaurant's are outside around here. Ha. It is soooo hot, like 110! Ahhh!
Fun little area.

We got so lucky, it is restuarant week here! Fun.
So we got an appetizer (strawberry, goat cheese, toast), Fish & chips and a Chocolate Chocolate mud cake thing that was sooooo amazing!! Oh and it came with 1 beer, blueberry something.
And we ordered a wedge salad on the side.
I NEED a copycat recipe of this dessert! We ate and relaxed! Wow no Kids! We haven't done this one on one thing since 2015!

My good looking husband.
Beautiful tree.

Then on the way still to meet up we found a water fall (spill) to check out.
Funny story we had to walk through construction to get to see waterfall! Lol. Can't tell from the photos though.

We made it.
All these cute little squares around these towns.

This guy rode bye on this bike! Ha.

Rehearsal dinner at this Mexican place. Luckily it was in a/c!
We hung out and talked with everyone for awhile.
Then decided to leave since we had been traveling and going all day.
Congrats you two! So excited for the wedding tomorrow night.

Nick got hungry again so we stopped for some ice cream at a place I heard was good from blogs!
Not in the best of town but it seemed fine once we went in.
Cute place. Seemed simple, but expensive!
I got a yummy mint chip and Nick got a sundae! yum!
Well we headed back to our place which was rented through hotels.com but it was like a mini apartment. Went to bed around 11ish! Excited to look around tomorrow in Austin before the wedding!
