May 4th (Kansas City Zoo Field Trip with Ella/Lion Stampede Carnival)

 Here we go...3rd time going to Kansas City Zoo with one of my girls. Ella was super excited to ride on the bus. I drove with Bethany and Patty. I also had one little girl in my group..Kacyn.

 We stopped at the Polar Bear.

These kids are ready to rock this zoo.

 We walked around with this group of kids along with 4 of us parents..Bethany, Patty, Stephen and Me.

 Orangutan enclosure is pretty cool. Mommy and Baby were interacting together.

They were so cute together.

 Being silly together.

 Tigers are out and about.

 Kangaroos are everywhere!!

We found a super big snake...Ella is scared of snakes!! Love her face.

 Time for penguins!! They sure are fun to watch.

Jelly fish are awesome.

 Antonio was super sweet...he loved to hold hands with Ella.

Time to go eat some lunch in the big white tent.

 All the 3 kindergarten classes ate together..then after we headed on the tram to Africa.

 So glad we don't have to walk to Africa this time.

 Cheetah's are out and about...I didn't even know there were more than one.

 The leopard is hiding!!

 Baby chimp with its mommy is out and playing.

 Ohhhh how sweet!! Ella, Antonio and Bray. These boys are just so sweet with Ella.

Me and Bethany...we are going to make it...the day is almost over. It has been a little wild with some of these girls running off. Luckily not my child. And it's been super hot.

 Lions are sleeping.

Ella wanted to see the crocodiles all day! Here you go Ella Bella.

 The new inclusion playground opened today. Ella loved it. Super fun for everyone.

 Love this picture...waiting for the Tram to come back and pick us up. We need to get these kids on the bus.

 We got the kids back then we were off to go home. I just wanted to get Ella since it was 3 pm. We headed to sonic to get the girls drinks and myself a coke.
Then it was time to go get Addie from school head back home to make a quick dinner. Then up to school by 5:10 for Adelyn to run before the carnival.

Holly, Daphne and Addie are ready to dance to some fun music they are playing.

 Adelyn and Daphne are cutting a rug out there. Having fun.

Um what is this??? Did these boys just step up to the girls to dance??

No no no they are too young to be dancing with boys.

Luckily I know these boys.

Ellis and Trey better watch out if Adelyn's dad would have seen this...haha.

 Geez!! Then the girls finally walked away ...they were dancing to Ice Ice Baby.

Carder and Ella...too cute! Carder will be here next year running in the race.

 They are ready to run.

 And they are off!

 Daphne is super fast...the fastest girl in 3rd grade...here she comes.

 Go Lauren. Man her and Violet are fast for just 1st graders.

 Adelyn and Riley are coming.

 She said she got two side aches...maybe we shouldn't have ate dinner right before. Oops.

After the run we were off to play some games.

 Both the girls got candy!! Wahoo.

After the games we grabbed our treats. Andy's custard and a funnel cake.

Grandma is here to save the day. I went and worked the carnival from 6:30-8. Nick had to work late so my mom to the rescue.

I am off to go help.

My mom took the girls around to the rest of the games, got face painting done and their hair spray painted!!

Thanks mom for your help.

My mom took the girls home to get ready for bed and then Nick got home.

I got to help in the flex space with the bounce house. 

After I ran around the school and helped clean up everything with a bunch of the lion stampede helpers. It took awhile to get everything back but we did it..wahoo.

Now time to go get some drinks and food from Tanners!!

I ended up staying till about midnight with everyone enjoying some much needed drinks and yummy chicken fingers.

Ready to relax now!!
