May 3rd (THE WORST DAY EVER...we have LICE!!)

Well this morning I discovered LICE in Adelyn's hair as I was putting it up for her to go to school. I was super freaked out and didn't know what to do!! Ahhhh this is one of my biggest fears. 

So I checked Ella's hair didn't see anything. Nick took her to school because it was a rain day. 

I called a place in Olathe to set up an appointment to get her treated and myself checked out..because now I am itching like crazy.

We went to the appointment for 3 hours...I was good. But Adelyn had to have a big expensive treatment done. All in all it was about $225!! Wow that is so much money...insane.

We then came home and I started washing all the sheets and comforters with hot water in all three rooms. Then putting every stuffed animal and blanket in the heater for 30 minutes.

As I was doing this I was making 150 pretzels rods for the teachers! Wow.

 So Ella Bella got home and I found 2 lice bugs on Ella. I went and ran up to buy the oil and foam to go through all of Ella's hair. I didn't find anything else but made sure she was treated to keep them away. I then treated myself just in case because I had been cleaning everything and I couldn't stop itching! lol. I pretty much ran around like a crazy person all day cleaning. I was super super exhausted by the end of the day!! I still have more cleaning to do but tomorrow I am going to the ZOO all day with Ella!!
