March 31st (Legacy Church Egg Hunt/Cousin Misty's House/KU GAME)

Nick ended up having to work today. So I got up around 7:45 and ate my breakfast in front of the tv then was off to go get the girls from my parents at 9:30. 

We got to the egg hunt a little before 10.

The girls were excited to play on playground and to get lots of eggs.

Go Ella go. I lost Adelyn!

There she is with a whole basket of eggs.

Happy girls. I had Adelyn give a few eggs to some of the littler kids around. She was fine with it.

Bounce house time...not so many kids this time.

Ella needed a little help.

We stayed and played for a little bit then we headed home to eat lunch.
The girls got to open up their eggs to find out what they got.

I made some homemade carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

Nick finally got home so we could head out to Nick's Cousins's, Misty's house for an early Easter.

We ate a yummy dinner of ham,  mashed potatoes, green beans, mac n cheese and rolls.
After some chit chat we had an Easter Egg Hunt outside for the kids.

Here go Jace and Ella since they are the youngest.

We went inside to look in all the eggs.

Each kid got a rabbit money egg...Adelyn scored the one with the $5 bill inside!! Wahoo...awesome job Addie. She was super excited.

We hung out for awhile then headed home around 6:30 to get ready for the BIG KU GAME!!

The kids went to bed while we watched the game.

Well KU couldn't pull it off...man it was a hard game of them losing. Villanova was on fire with their 3 point shots. Maybe next year boys. Now time to go to bed so the Easter Bunny can come visit!! Another full day tomorrow!!
(Happy 11 year anniversary real day..lol)
