March 15th (Day 4 of Spring Break-KU Game/Sonic/Gezer Park/Dr. Appt./Grillin)

Adelyn, Nick and I all filled out a bracket this year. So fun let the fun begin.

GO KU!!

We got our KU gear on and ready for the game later.

So this morning was already super nice. Ella played out on the deck with her cars and Mayva before we left to go to the store.

 Just a girl and her dog.

This is a happy cat being able to go in and out of the house with no problem.

 We hit up Walmart for a few things and then the girls got Sonic Slushes on this nice day!!

After slushes and lunch we met our friends the Washington's at Gezer Park in Leawood. We love this park with the stream, sandbox and playground.

 Walking in the empty stream...I guess they don't put water in it till it gets warmer out. I even brought a change of clothes and towel. lol

 Lots and lots of kids. A few fights over the toy trucks. Next time we will bring stuff.

 Time to hit the trail for a bit of a walk.

We found the sign!! Fun.

I love Jace's face.

A fire pit. Well we said our goodbyes and then Ella tripped over Jace's foot and fell straight on her mouth. Poor baby's lip was bleeding all over. 

We headed to the doctor for Adelyn's appointment, since she woke me up last night saying her ear was hurting really bad. I figured if Ella's lip was too bad at least we already headed to the doctor. She ended up being fine though. Adelyn did have an ear infection though. Poor thing. On to Walgreens to get her some medication and get her feeling better.

Giving each other a hug for not feeling good! Sweet sisters.

Ella had to go outside again to keep enjoying this gorgeous weather..Adelyn opted for watching a movie and relaxing with her ear hurting worse.

Old sand but who cares.

I watched the game on my phone off and on at the playground...KU won!! Wahoo!! Its nice out so I want a couple beers and time to grill out some burgers.

I am waiting for you summer days!
