December 27th (Family Fun Day...kind of??)

1st stop the natural history museum!!

                        There is Adelyn's dinosaur right by Daddy's head...great shot I thought.
Well we decided not to do any of the extras at the museum maybe when they get the dinosaur exhibit in February. I just thought it was a little expensive, but maybe here in there we can go. So then we hit up the toy store there and got the girls some little animals that Adelyn collects and loves. Well then I remembered I had FREE jumping jax passes from my mom so we headed down to Olathe...and it was CLOSED not in business maybe??? So we laughed as the kids whinned and didn't enjoy the lovely car ride since Ella was hungry and Adelyn was mad about the place being closed. We knew we had to eat so off we went to the Other Place for lunch and then hit up Chuckie Cheese!! woo hoo.

After a short visit to chuckie cheese we headed home!!

The new favorite game around our house is playing with Adelyn's girl nerf gun! Daddy really is reliving his childhood the last couple days...hahaha! Adelyn and Ella would go look for him with their new flash lights and then he would shoot at them. They were sooo happy! Love that Nick loves to play with his girls! Now we just need to get another nerf gun!

December 25th (MERRY CHRISTMAS!!)

                          Adelyn was sooo excited about her birds...one of her things she really wanted!!

Ella got the green bird...she thought it was pretty neat that it talked!

I video taped them opening their presents so I didn't take many pics.

Then it was time to make breakfast. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Sasha came over to eat and brought the girls presents!

Addie got a princess play doh set and Ella got a block set...awesome!

After a crazy morning, but fun. We headed out to Grandma and Grandpa's around 1:30 for Christmas again!!

 They got a lot more just didn't take pictures, but 2 big gifts were the 7 barbie princess' including the frozen girls and the nursery center for their baby dolls!!

After all our presents we talked and ate yummy prime rib. We were super tired after all the super packed full days we have been having. Ella also was tired so we headed out around 6 pm. We decided it would be fun to go through the Christmas light neighborhood near my parents. Then I remembered the Penguin House that we had never walked through...so we did! It was pretty cool!

Ella was super tired and cried all the way home! Not the best way to end our Christmas Day but that is life...right?? lol. Oh one day it will be easier.

Enjoying some wine and watching tv with my hubby! Great way to relax and end our night...once the kiddos were asleep, very peaceful!! lol. Merry Christmas Everyone!!
