December 8th (Gingerbread House!!)

 Today we decorated the girls new purple and pink little trees from Grandma Joy.

 Now that Ella is asleep we get to make our gingerbread house!!

Today was a fun day...other than Daddy having to work until about 10:30. We started off our morning playing and then got going on the Gingerbread house once I got Ella to sleep. I made homemade royal icing that turned out awesome for the house. Adelyn at first was being kind of bratty and not wanting to help make the house, but then she saw frosting and she was in. lol Adelyn really liked helping put the candy on and telling me where to put more frosting. She did her own tree. Then Daddy brought home lunch and helped out just as Ella woke up.

We had a lot of fun as a family and then headed out to Bailey's (our nieces) 13th birthday over at her dad's. We knew we wouldn't be able to stay long since Ella only got one nap. We ate yummy cake and ice cream. We tried to go to Christmas in the park but the line was just too long, so the girls passed out and Nick & I got Panda Express in the car. We had a little date night in the car while the girls slept...lol. We ended the evening driving through a really cool nice lighted neighboorhood in Lees summit. Great day and night!!
