August 5th (Swimming w/Neighbors)

Nick said things went well last night. He didn't win the tournament, like he did last year. But he did win the blind draw. He also went to dinner with his dad and they had a great time together. 

Today I needed some entertainment for Ella so I invited over the neighbors to swim with us. It was fun and nice to talk with some friends. We swam for about 3 hours. Then we got Chinese for dinner! 

So Nick talked to me later and said things weren't going as well with his Dad. He said he was being kind of crazy acting and he saw him drinking some beers. Which he hasn't since January. Nick said he couldn't find him when he was going to bed around 10:30?
