August 24th (Day 2:Neighbors Weekend-Shoot Out/Captain Ron's)

Well it is raining here....not too bad but putting a damper on trying to hang out and watch the boat races! 

Here comes the trick airplane...this guy is crazy and amazing at the same time.

A bunch of the boats for the shoot out across the lake from us.

Thousands of boats all tied up for a raging party.

So at this point the boats stopped racing and we didn't know why but saw police boats across the way.

Then finally a boat came over to tell us a man was missing in the water. So they had divers out looking and the races wont be going on until they could find him.

Sooooo sad!

We headed back to make lunch at the house and to wait to hear more on the tragedy.

We just hung around the house chatting some taking naps then we headed back out on boat after 7 across the way to Captain Ron's.

They were still looking for the man's body...we even passed by the cop boats.

Ready to go see the live band at Captain Ron's and see some fast boats.

We hung out and ordered some food...which isn't the best there. Then we listened to the live band, which was pretty good. I thought we were going to go somewhere else to eat but we couldn't with the cops still looking...slow wake going on. So we went back to the house ate a little bit of stuff and just hung out till we got to tired!! Wish it would have been sunnier and not a tragedy.
(Around 11 pm they found the 23 year old males body...sooo sad!)
