June 21st (Grant's Farm/Science Center/Arch!)

Watching some cartoons this morning before we head to GRANTS FARM!!
We made it to Grants Farm...Clydesdale Horses, so beautiful and big!

Addie looks messed up...lol..on the tram into Grants Farm!! As we rode we had a tour and saw animals roaming free, they even went on the rode we were driving on.

The Grant Families house..one of the last 3 remaining cabins in the country!

An oreo cow!

Once we got there we saw the Elephants and Adelyn wanted a snow cone right away. It was pretty hot out already at 10 am. So we got a grape/strawberry slushy..very yummy!
Next stop the Beer Garden for some free samples from Anheuser Busch! I got bud light lime, not a fan of beer but it taste a lot like lime. After one beer I was feeling it...lol. Since we only had a donut or 2 before at 7 am. Alcohol was affecting us more. lol I think the whole point of Grants Farm is to get you toasted..lol. They also had a sample of Apple Cider or Strawberryrita. So we decided we needed to eat somewhere right away. I felt much more relaxed finishing looking at the animals though. Hahahaha.

The camels were the coolest. They came right up to the fence to let us pet them and see them up close. The girls loved them.

Daddy loved the bald eagles.

Daddy took this cute picture of Ella!
Time to go get something to eat. Grants Farm was okay, probably wont go back, not enough animals, but great drinks!
The yummy diner we ate at for lunch right down the rode. It wasn't very big glad we got a table right away. It reminded me of Winsteads in Kansas. Next stop Science Center!!

Trying all the cool things that the Science Center has you try.

I thought this was interesting...a mummy baby. It said that the parents must have had lots of money to be able to mummify the baby.

As you stepped on the hopscotch numbers they made music sounds. Ella loved it!

The tallest mans shoe size...I wanted to compare to my foot..size 10 women.
Walking over the sky landing which goes over the highway...really cool. A little freaky at first..the cars drive right at you.

Ella was a little nervous to step on it at first. She figured out a great way to check it out first. lol
We could see the Big Dinosaur when we walked in downstairs so we saved it for last. That is all Adelyn wanted to do...guess we should have started there. lol
                                                  Digging for Dinosaur bones.
The Science Center was a lot of fun great for all ages. Would go back for sure, plus it is FREE and we parked FREE along the side of the building.
And this is what happens when Ella has missed 2 naps...tired little one!!
We were going to head back to the condo, but decided why not go to the Delmar Loop to see The Blueberry Hill Restaurant.
As we were walking down the cute street we say the Fitz Bottle company that bottles their own rootbeer and you can watch. I saw it online but didn't know if it would be worth going. But we headed inside just in time to watch them bottle the bottles. We also saw their amazing floats they make...they looked delicious, but we were to full from lunch. Next time.
Here it is Blueberry Hill!!
They have a dart room with steal tip darts. Daddy got his picture. This place is pretty cool and has been there a long time. We also spotted Sherri, Nick's mom up high on a plaque for wining in a dart tournament there. We had never been to the tournament since it is mother's day weekend.
Up in the right corner!!
We

Dinner at Tuckers Place...I looked this people up before we left so we could have some insight on some restaurants and we decided to check it out.

Do those look good or what? They were awesome...perfect and the potato was awesome as well. It was cheaper than long horn and better. Wish we had places like this around Kansas City.
                                                             Selfie with my hubby!
Here we come arch...we had been seeing it but I finally decided to take some pictures..lol.

Waiting in line to go down into the arch! Lines, lines and more lines!! Not fun with a tired 2 year old!!
I told them they can touch the arch...they thought it was cool.
                                                              Under the arch!
We made it through the x-ray and got our tickets. Time to explore under the arch.

Finally we got to go up the arch in this tiny little pod!! We waited till about 8:40 to go up but our tickets were for 8 pm. Ella was crying, running, laying, and was super tired. Not a fun wait and not what we thought!! lol But Daddy really wanted to go up in the arch and I had never been so we did it anyways! We were close to throwing in the towel.

We rode up with a nice lady, so she took our picture for us!!
Looking out in the arch...Ella was scared and Daddy and Addie were happy!

                                                              Cardinals Stadium
Okay as soon as we got up I was ready to go down with Ella but we waited about 10 minutes for Daddy and Addie. Then it was time to run all the way to the parking garage while it rained on us...luckily not to bad, but Ella did not like it!! It was nice to finally get to the car and put Ella in her seat so she could fall asleep asap!!
Poor Baby!
Ted Drewes custard for a special treat before heading back to the condo.
It was really good and I am not a custard person, bu since it is a HUGE deal in St. Louis and has been on the food network had to go.
Addie enjoyed her cone and Ella slept!
Today was another fun filled long day in St. Louis...destination tomorrow...HOME!!
