December 13th (Christmas Lights-Deanna Rose as Family)
December 12th (Nick's Birthday-Took Off Work, Shake Shack, Shopping/Presents with Dad)
Nick took off work for the 1st time ever for his birthday since he gets sick and vacation days!
Yay! And he wanted to spend it with me.
We got shake shack for lunch, Yummy!
Then we went to shop at Jcpenny so he could find some new clothes, mostly jeans!
Great day together!
Girls got home from school and Ella wanted to give Dad his gifts.
We got him a gift card to go to the shooting range. He was excited and surprised along with some clothes.
But the big gift was...
His very own Espresso Machine!!
He has wanted one for a long time and I got super cash from kohl's and they went on sale like by a lot!!
He was so excited to use it!
December 11th (Celebrating Nick's 42 nd birthday at Jalapeno's)
Didn't take any pics, a little crazy at dinner with so many people. Nick's family and mine. Plus Ella who requires a lot of attention when out at dinner.

December 10th (Fence Down/Puzzle/Oliver)
Well we had some high winds today, so down went some of our fence.
The baby boy is back home, yesterday was his surgery. He did great but had 4 teeth removed!
Poor guy, he ran and hid the whole night and was a little loopy from the pain meds. But today he came and laid with me!! He did eat last night a little bit, so that is good! Now just needs time to heal.
December 9th (Adopt A Family/Little bit of Christmas/Sausage Corn Chowder/Adelyn New Phone)
My cute crochet Christmas hanging in my car! I love it!
I made this sausage corn chowder for the 1st time. I got the recipe from my cousin Keri's soup party! Yum!
Adelyn is getting a new phone, since her other one is super old and she has had it since she was 13.
She was surprised and excited, Happy early Christmas!
(Also Oliver had his surgery today! He is ok and is home now! Already ate some food!)
December 7th (Oliver)
Oliver is cuddling with Nick.
Unfortunately for us he isn't getting better and isn't eating anything at all now.
We are going to have to call the Vet on Monday and get him in to have the cleaning and surgery.
December 6th (Volleyball Tournament/Annual Ornament Exchange-Carey's House)
Adelyn's 1st volleyball tournament this season at our Homefield @ the legends!
Nick took Adelyn to volleyball this morning and then headed to work for a little bit. I missed the 1st game. Nick got there for some of it. Ella came with me to meet Nick. We watched the next game. Then ran to get lunch at Go Chicken Go, which wasn't very good out here. Then we headed back to watch 2 more games.
Nick then left with Ella to head home since we had to wait in between.
I headed to Target nearby to grab a few things for the ornament exchange tonight to go with my charcuterie board. Ugh!
Well we ended up getting into the Gold Bracket, but that means we played the hardest teams. And we didn't play that well. It sucked! Oh well. We got to leave sooner than what we would have if we would have gone to the next slot.
So we got home around 5 pm.
Then I had to run inside change and get charcuterie board ready and make chicken lomein for the family before I left at 6:30! Ugh I am so tired and ready for bed!
But I want to see my friends so lets keep this train a going!!

December 5th (Oliver-Vet/Enjoying my Tree/Christmas Vacation)
Well I had to take Oliver into the Vet today.
He hasn't been eating well for a week, and then finally in the last few days he wont eat his cat food and only a little bit of steak or chicken. But then meows like he is in pain. Poor guy. He keeps looking at me with a grumpy face. I thought he got in a fight with another cat.
Well the vet, who was a little odd said it looks like he has some bad teeth and that he needs a cleaning along with maybe pulling some out. It will cost $900! Umm what? So we opted for an antibiotic shot to see if that helps before going under and spending all the money. Ugh. Oh Oliver. At least he is almost 14 and hasn't had to go to the vet very often! Poor guy.

December 3rd (Christmas Tree Decorating-Ugh)
Gorgeous out again!
Well decorating wasn't that much fun, at the beginning.
Then it got ok. No one really wanted to decorate and I did because I wanted to get it done!
Well it's done. Ha.
Made Nick retake our picture, it was too close.
And time for bed!
