February 5th (Chicken Noodle Soup-Sick at home with Ella)

So me being a mom and crazy. While I was awake at 2 am with Ella, trying to get her to go to bed. I thought I would get a Whole Foods order going so I could make Chicken Noodle soup tomorrow morning. Plus a few other things. I had free delivery since I have never used the service. And by 10:15 am I got my groceries on my porch! Ha. This was great because Nick was busy out in Lawrence, KS working all day. 

Yummy!

Ella went on her tablet for awhile upstairs so I ate my soup and watched some tv. Ugh I feel worse today, but neither of us have a fever which is good! Congested REALLY bad though like when I had covid back in 2021!

 

February 4th (Sickness, Oliver & Ella)

Ella was watching tv tonight and Oliver came up to cuddle with her. This made her night!

Well today I started to get Nick's sickness. Stuffy nose, run down feeling, and my neck hurt. I guess I will be resting tomorrow.

(Side Note: Ella woke me up in the night and she had to poop. Then acted like she was going to throw up so we had to go sleep on the couch. After not sleeping most of the night we woke Nick up a little before his alarm and went to bed in mine and nick's bed!)

 

February 3rd (New Recipe-Creamy Taco Soup/Smore's Cookie Cake)

New recipe-Creamy Taco Soup.

It was yummy, kind of like cheese dip!

I also made Smore's cookie cake, super good!

 

February 1st (Sunday-New Green Juice/Japanese)

New green juice added to our weekly juice! Nick and I now have 2 juices to take!

This one is has celery, cilantro, green apples and Aloe juice!! Very good for you.

We also made yummy Japanese on the flat grill for dinner! Yum!!

And wow January flew bye!!

 

January 30th (Homemade Cheezits/Grease Musical-OE/Adelyn Photos)

Trying to make homemade cheesitz so we don't have to buy them anymore because of all the bad ingredients in them.

They look similar, but the taste isn't a Cheesitz but will have to find another recipe to try! They tasted like a cracker though.

Tonight Adelyn and I have tickets to go see Grease at OE!

Taylor is in it, background person. She isn't really a singer and this was a musical!

Look who I see! Another girl in Adelyn's AP photography class used Adelyn to take a photo! I didn't ever see it or know it was hanging up. It is so good! I love it!!

These next 2 are what Adelyn took. She took one of the girl, Kalayni that took one of her.

We saw the pictures during intermission.

We waited around to congratulate Taylor.

The Musical was really good. Love singing the songs, even though nobody was singing in the theater! Boo! We headed home around 9:30 ish. I was ready to get into bed!!

 

January 28th (Spin Lunch Date)

January 27th (Sky-Chem Trail)

January 25th (Pretty Snow/Outside in Snow)

Very pretty out this morning!

Got Ella out of the houses finally today. 

We needed to clean off all the cars just in case we have school tomorrow.

January 24th (Snow!)

Well the kids had school yesterday!

We got probably 6 inches??!!

Staying in all weekend, it's cold!

 

January 22nd (Weird Clouds/Making Treats/Snow Storm Coming)

These clouds do not look normal!

Stop messing with our sky's you stupid Government!

Made some treats for this upcoming snow storm coming.

I also took some over to Grand and April's-as a surprise! She is a teacher and I know is hoping for a snow day tomorrow!

Banana bread with Crumble topping.

And puppy chow sounded good.

Supposed to get 4-10 inches??!! We shall see. 

The weird part is that the South is supposed to get ice and snow. Weird!

 

January 19th (MLK Day 3-Hale Hall)

We got to sleep in and eat a good breakfast.

And we didn't have to go downtown again, Hale hall next to Hyvee Arena. Easy in and easy out!

We had to start late.

Nick got there just in time to watch.

Adelyn played awesome.

They started off playing really well. 

Got to the 3rd set.

Nice Adelyn!! She is just so good!! I love watching her play.

Well we didn't win!

It went downhill at the end of the 3rd set.

We only had one game to play then it would be the finals, ugh! 

We weren't in a high bracket but still the girls can play so well! They should have won! Oh well till next time!

It's also most the girls 1st time playing in MLK-3 day tournament!

 

January 18th (MLK Tournament Day 2-Bartle Hall Basement)

2nd Day Volleyball

Harder to get up in the morning, especially because we had to be downtown by 7:15 am this time. Ugh. We did get Starbucks which helps! lol. Well we got downtown at 6:45 but so did everyone else! Waiting forever to turn into a parking lot, but took to long so headed up 3 blocks and found a parking garage that was empty. Parked and ran down because it was so cold out!

The coach was super late! Ha.

Yes we won the last games!! We have been playing at times amazingly!! Lets go PVA!

We only had 3 total in our pool so we got to go home sooner than others!

Got home around 2 pm!

Tomorrow my mom is going to come watch Ella so I can take Adelyn and go watch bracket play. 
They don't play till 11 am! We get to sleep in!
