June 28th (Day 2-Drive To Pass Christian, MS/Lunch @ Shaggy's/Driving Around/AirBnb)

We made it to the Mississippi Beach!

Water isn't nearly as pretty as Florida, but we knew that! Wanted to mark MS and Louisiana off our list of states.

We decided to drive the coast to check out what was around. We had to wait to get into the Airbnb still.

Southern homes are my favorite! So many HUGE houses here right by the water.

Time to go get some lunch, Shaggy's on the water in Pass Christitan.

Headed over to Bay St. Louis since we still had some time to kill.

Luckily our Airbnb ladies were so sweet and let us check in 2 hours early because I told her about our debacle with the 1st Airbnb. We had planned to do stuff around Jackson today.

This place is amazing and so peaceful around this little town!

Nick and I got groceries and made a quick dinner. Then I saw such a nice sunset.

June 27th (Day 1: Leaving for Jackson, MS-Dinner Breakfast/David's Burgers/Jackson Bad AirBnB/The Vault Dinner/Hotel)

We got on the road at 5:30 am!! Wow! We are doing great starting off on this vacay! We stopped to eat a yummy diner breakfast in a small town in Missouri! Perfect place to eat at.

We made it to Arkansas!

We made to Little Rock, AR, and we are ready for lunch!

I found a place called David's Burgers, local fast food place! 

Reminds me of a Culver's/Freddy's but better quality burgers! Yum!

You also get free fries when you sit down to eat, wow these are good. Nick spilling on himself, lol.

Little Rock, isn't the biggest downtown. But looks pretty!

Fun bridge to go over.

Well I booked an Airbnb in Jackson, MS. We pulled into a Sketchy neighborhood, but decided to go in to check it out before we said no. Nick and I went in and the place inside didn't look like the pictures I saw online. It was more run down and an odd layout. We didn't feel safe staying in that city. So I contacted the owner and told them we weren't going to stay. Asked if they could give us our money back or at least some of it! It turned into huge long texts on Airbnb of him being offended. Ugh. Now we have to drive and find somewhere to stay.

We needed to eat so we found a small town with this cute mom and pop restaurant.

It was really good!

I think the whole town was there!

We had to drive an hour and half from Jackson, MS to find a hotel I was willing to stay in. It was a nice Hilton. Time to go to bed it was late getting there, like 10 pm. 

Ready to get to the beach tomorrow and never see Jackson, MS again! Lol.
