I told Nick earlier this week that he needed to be ready to leave the house by 3 pm. It was a surprise for his birthday. And that him and I were going to go do something together.
He was about to get in the shower, so I gave him a gift to give him a clue.
He guessed behind the scenes Tour for the Chiefs Stadium.
Lets go!
Next surprise was pulling in to the parking lot to see Rob and Eva.
Nick said he didn't want any surprises, but this was after the fact that I planned this whole evening. Hopefully he isn't too mad about everything! I did things he would like??! Oh geez.
(Nick told me he is going to stop smoking cigarettes when he turns 40 which is in a few days, the twelfth. Any who he has been not the happiest and has been drinking a lot worrying about what he promised!)
I am the only one that went on a tour with the schools with Adelyn in 5th grade. I am sure this tour will be a bit different as well. Lets go have some fun.
There were some Bills fans on our tour, since there is a game on Sunday here. They were all very impressed with our stadium and all the nostalgia that we have here in KC!!
We got to go inside this suite, only $300,000 a season and it doesn't include food and beverage! You know, no big deal! Geez.

Well our tour got done early so I had to text Lisa and Ruth to hurry up to decorate at Shark's Bar for Nick's surprise 40th Birthday.
They got their and got it all ready.
Nick ended up figuring out what I was doing on the way to Shark's. Ugh. He wasn't happy at first with me, but then ended up loving the party.
A lot of his friends he hasn't seen in a while made it out to see him!

I was exhausted from planning everything for this party, plus trying to get things done before school is out. Christmas is sneaking up on us!! I finally got my brother and Nick out of the party by 11 ish. Ugh!
We got home to send my brother home with my mom.
