February 8th (Poor Bird)

New barn door handles we ordered for our MBR! Yay.

Poor Bird. Oliver brought this bird to our house. Nick helped it stand up and hopefully get better. But we thought it hopped away but the next morning Mayva found it in the yard and stepped on it! Ooops! Oh geez!!f

 

February 7th (Monday Morning Sunrise/Early Birthday Celebration For Me-Jalapenos)

Lately the sky has been so gorgeous in the mornings!!

Got some stuff done around the house while the kids were at school.

At 5:30 we headed to Jalapeno's to celebrate my birthday early on Taco Night since this weekend coming up is my real birthday and we will be at volleyball all day/night!

It was so nice that my cousin Keri, her husband Ryan, Maggie, my parents, and Stephen could all come to celebrate! The food was so yummy. 

My mom made a cake but didn't want me to blow it out on the cake because of Covid, which I already had??! Oh well it was sooo funny of me holding the candle lit and laughing. It was very weird and funny! Haha.

Then my mom said to open the cake at least and hold the candle?? Haha.

My mom's angel food cake was amazing also.

February 6th (Ella Snow Fun/Moving Into MBR/Bathroom Hardware/Parents House Christmas from Livingston Family)

We moved our things into the MBR!! And we will get to sleep in here tonight!! Wahoo!! I am so excited.

We worked hard around the house getting things put away and little things Nick needed to do!!

Then we headed to my parents around 4ish to hang out and go to dinner!

The girls got to open Christmas presents from their cousins since we all kept getting Covid at different times we haven't been able to figure out a time.

My mom made yummy shrimp creole, which is one of my favorites! We hung out for a few hours then headed home to take showers and get ready for bed!

Can't wait till everything is all clean and organized around here! Lots to do still!! All the last minute stuff takes way longer than you think. Great Sunday! And I can't wait to sleep in my bed and bedroom again!!!!
 

February 5th (Volleyball Tournament-Independence/Team Lunch/Ella Painting)

Volleyball tournament today! Nick stayed home with Ella today.

They won!! Doing pretty good!

Well we didn't medal but the girls played pretty well!! The girls need to get better at playing together, still figuring that all out!! But fun to watch. We should have beat most teams here, but we will fall apart sometimes. A few girls have BIG attitudes which brings the team down unfortunately. We decided to go eat with some of the other team members and coach.

We had to be in Independence at 7:30 am, with it being 45 minutes away. So we are always tired when we leave!! We got home around 3 something. Ella wanted my attention right away. Painting for Ella.
