September 16th (Ella's Field Trip to Liberty, MO!)

I grabbed some Starbucks before heading out to Liberty by myself! Boo it's 50 minutes away.

Martha La Fite Nature Sanctuary!

First Ella's group headed to the basement to make their own fossil with plaster paris. 

Then we went upstairs to learn about fossils in rocks and different types of rocks.

The kids got to hold and feel the different ones.

Ella handing poop off to Tyler...haha. It was fossilized so hard as a rock.

Then it was time to head to the creek to find our own fossils!

It was a bit of a hike!

And a little crawfish.

This is the guy that works there and tells everyone what they found. Very nice guy!! Lots of questions.

All the kids are so sweet with Ella when she needs help. Lots of them have been here since kindergarten and I love that!!

After this we were all hot and hungry. So picnic table lunch! 

Then Ella's small bus left a little early because Lily was having a hard time on the field trip.

I thought the field trip was ok, thought we could maybe find a closer place that could do the same type of experience. I mean I have a creek in my backyard!!?? Lol.

I headed home and relaxed the rest of the afternoon before Ella got home!

I forgot how field trips really take it out of you.

 

September 15th (Ready for Halloween/Addie School Pic/CT vs. ST Volleyball)

This afternoon my mom, Erika and I headed together to Summit Trail to watch some V-Ball!!

Wow this school is crazy nice and BIG! We sat up high on rizors!!

They are about to win!! Couple more points. Coach Green brought in Riley to serve for the B team since she hasn't been playing much for the A team! Wahoo go Riley!

They won!! A and B team both won!! Go CT!!

Nick got home a little late, he went back after the game. Then came home to start regrading our yard to grow better grass and to put in a sprinkler system.

We have some dirt!! Ha.

September 13th (Shopping/Ella Costume/Adelyn Volleyball Game vs. CST)

Found this for $1.24 for Ella's Corpses Bride Costume. I will spray paint it bluish for the costume. What a score from a thrift store!! Wahoo! So cheap!

This afternoon it was CT vs. CST.

Adelyn was actually matched up against her right at the net! Oh wow!!

Both girls played great against each other.

 Well both A & B lost to CST. But both seemed a little off and the coach changed some girls in and out which I think messed up the mojo?? Any who Adelyn played great, so fun to watch her play now!! So much more exciting as they get older!
