April 23rd (Father of the Bride and Appetizer Night)

Tonight was appetizer night, well mostly deep fried everything night other than sushi from Sam's Club. Luckily I planned this earlier in the week and it worked out perfectly since I started my period and wasn't feeling the best today.

We also watched Father of the Bride with the girls.

We had some unexpected guests tonight with Heather and Pierce coming in to play! Then Jeff, Nick's brother and Max stopping bye to show us his new van they bought the other night. Max and Pierce are close in age and had a blast playing! Great unexpected night of friends!!

 

April 21st (Tile!)

So I watched a couple videos and told Nick to watch some to make sure he is doing it right and to help it go more smoothly!

Luckily he did and it seems to be helping.

Great job Honey!!

Keep up the great job.

 

April 21st (Eli's B-day Get Together)

Eli's birthday get together!

Noah, Lucas, Riley, Trey, Hunter, Eli, Adelyn and Taylor.

I got to go down to Sarah's house with Adelyn for Eli's birthday celebration. Sarah just had her kitchen re done, which looks AMAZING!! She had donuts and cheese balls for the kids to enjoy! They played outside and hit a mini pinata to get candy out. Ha. It was nice catching up with some mom friends! Ella stayed home and played while Nick worked on the tile. 

(Nick thought the tile was going good until he realized it wasn't!! Uh oh. He had to start over again!! Tomorrow will be a new day!! Hopefully he can figure it out!!)
 

April 20th (SNOW!!!/New Phones/Bathroom Tile)

Wow what is this?? Snow in the middle/end of April!! Why Why?? Ugh!! I am ready for summer!!!!

She still had to get dressed for school.

Nick ended up being home from work due to the snow. So we went to Verizon to get new phones since ours are old and aren't working as well. We were there forever even though we were the first ones! We both got Samsung 21's...they are super fancy and take great pictures and have way more room!! Yay!

We watched the new show The Boys on netflix for 1/2 the day! Nice to just relax on this snowy day!

Nick worked on the bathroom in the afternoon.

April 19th

April 18th (Volleyball/Nice Weather/Bathroom/Family Walk)

Two more volleyball games this morning.

The first team we won 1 of the 3 sets. 

Then it got bad!!

We had to play our old teammates again but they only had 4 girls to play and they beat us all 3 games!! Ugh.

Well we have 4 new girls that have never played before so it really brings us down unfortunately. 

There team with the 4 girls were all good servers and three of the four were are girls from a few months ago. Geez, wish they would have stayed and we would have had a great team!! Ugh sucks.

We got Goodcents for lunch then headed outside to enjoy the nice weather.

Jeff, Nick's brother came over to work on electrical and its almost finished! Yay!

Nick worked on finishing up more water proofing of the shower.

The shower is taking forever!!

We have counter top guys coming to measure on April 28th!! I am so ready for the bathroom to be done. Because we still need to work on the master bedroom before we can move in!

We grilled out tonight with this nice weather and enjoyed a beer while we cooked! I need more days like these.

To end our nice day we went on a family walk with Mayva!

April 17th (Volleyball/Girls @ Grandparents/Time Alone!)

Adelyn had 2 volleyball games today. 

The lost all of them unfortunately.

And the last game they played some of their former team mates, 3 of them left and formed another CT group with other girls. 

It was really sad because 2 of these girls have played with us since end of 2nd grade!!

Ugh oh well that's how life goes.

After volleyball we headed home for a little while then the girls got ready for Grandma and Grandpa's for the night!

Nick and I got to go see some model homes to look at finishes on tile and then to dinner at a new place for us- Johnny's Italian Steakhouse.

It was pretty good. Not my favorite, 801 chophouse was just so amazing.

Nice early dinner! Ha we were done by 6!

We headed home to finish the Night Stalker on Netfix and hang out.

Then about 9 pm we got to leave the house together to go get Freddie's Turtle Sundaes. 

It was nice to leave and not just one of us stay home because of the kids, reminded us of days before kids! It's the little things, right? Ha.

Love being able to just chill out at home with my hubby! Great Night!

 

April 15th (Our New TV)

April 13th (Ella swinging/Chipotle Night CT)

I am going to wear it as clothes or a swim cover up!! Adorable, loving all the tie dye.

April 12th (Girls Are Better/Toe Nails Done w/Mom & First Watch)

Ella ready for school and bringing her baby.

The girls are feeling way better but their noses are stuffy. Fever free for 48 hours, so I am sending them.

My mom texted last night to see if I wanted to go get my toes done with her.

That sounds amazing after stressful day and night with 2 sick kiddos.

Then we ran over to first watch for some yummy lunch.

Great time with my mom.

After school Ella wanted to fly her batman kit from Easter.

There was just enough wind!!

Yay! She loved it.

Happy happy girl!!
