January 20th (Braids)

I did two braids for Ella's hair tonight while it was wet so in the morning it would be wavy!

 

January 18th (Martin Luther King Day-No School)

Today we were home for Martin Luther King. I feel like they are never in school!!

Any who we went to Target, which was super crowded and the girls used some of their gift cards to buy some new stuff!

Ella bought this $10 bucket of SLIME!! It looks really cool.

It has glitter and is a great consistency!

It even smells yummy, Nickelodeon Slime...I highly recommend!

Adelyn bought an old school Pound Puppy, like I had in the 80's and stress putty!

Ready for school tomorrow!! This year has been so up and down! With days like this off I feel that they need to be in school learning more than being off!!

 

January 17th (Volleyball Games/Chiefs Playoff Game)

So the games got pushed back from 7:10 to 7:40, and from 8 to 8:20 tonight since we had the playoff game before!

The Chiefs WON!!! Time to go to the next game next week!!

Adelyn is getting a lot better with her serves!! She is loving volleyball but no the late night games every Sunday!! Great job. They did even better this week with the games! Hopefully Nick will get to come to some soon!

This week I will be preparing our house for Master Bath Renovation. So moving everything out of our sitting room/craft room (WHICH IS A TON OF STUFF), out of the bathroom and out of the play room upstairs! So our house will be a mess like all the time...ugh I hate disorganization. But it will be worth it in the long run!
 

January 16th (Snow/Auntie Lisa and Brennen for late Christmas)

Snow for a few minutes outside!

I didn't want to get her all dressed in snow stuff to just go out for a few minutes, so this was option 2!

Tonight around 5 pm Auntie Lisa and cousin Brennen came over to celebrate Christmas since I was sick! The girls got cave club dolls, play doh, craft kits and cave club eggs! They were super happy!!

We made steak, broccoli cheese, baked potatoes and sour dough bread! It was a great night of catching up! Lisa and I enjoyed a couple glasses of champagne also.

Adelyn is getting closer to Lisa's height!

 

January 14th (Sarah's B day Lunch)

So this is the look we will all wear on the girls trip in August!! Hahaha just kidding!! Too many rolls would be popping out in the wrong places.

I booked our Margaritaville house yesterday for the annual Girls Trip! We are thinking of doing a neon party at the house night!! So I found these silly neon dress as a joke. 

Today though we went to lunch to celebrate Sarah's birthday at K-Macho's! Yummy!

We had a great time catching up with everyone. We had to have 2 tables because of covid but I didn't get stuck at the kid table!! Haha. April M brought Taylor!

 

January 13th (V Day stuff/Addie and errands)

Aren't these super cute...got some for my girls and let April T know since she is doing v day parties at RP this year for multiple classes. 

Adelyn had school at home today. So she usually gets done around 12 sometimes earlier. So today we ran some errands after lunch. We hit up Target to look for a new comforter set for her new bed set coming in March. No luck but we did find Starbucks for me and smoothie from Target food area for her. Then we ran into Bed Bath and Beyond to look! They are going out of business and don't have a lot to look at unfortunately! Nice spending time with my almost teenager!! Ahhhhh!

 

January 11th (Cuddle bug!)

 We all cuddled up in Mommy and Daddy's bed tonight. Ella hasn't snuggled like this in forever!! Watching Dr. Pol...one of our favorite shows!!

January 10th (Scooter Fun/Guest Room Makeover Again/Water Fun/Volleyball Games)

Tonight I got to watch Adelyn play volleyball again with a new team called the Mustangs. Its in Gardner.

At first they weren't doing very well but then they started serving better.

Which are old team couldn't serve well but did the 3 hits way better.

Unfortunately they have to wear masks! 

Addie did great on serves.

Only one adult can come to the games and since the games go till around 9 pm, I might be the only one going to most! 

So I finished the Bridgerton tv series, it is SOOOOOO good and addictive!!

Now I want to get the books!!

 

January 9th (Restaurant Week-Bristol)

My dinner and Nick got the same. Filet, crab cake, asparagus and creamy mashed potatoes!! It was super delicious! 

So nice to be out with this handsome guy!!

January 4th (Krispy Kreme/Dentist/Snow fort with more Friends)

Late morning we left to go to the Dentist in Raymore, then on our way home we grabbed some Krispy Kreme donuts with a coupon!! Yay! The girls were excited.

We came home and ate lunch, then friends came over to play out in the snow!

Noah, Kenna and Taylor are here!

Happy girls in the igloo!

It was so nice catching up with April and Ruth inside on the couch while the kids played outside!! Eva ended up stopping by also, so she got to say hi also. The bad part is it got warmer so the igloo started to melt and fall down! Poor Nick and all his hard work!
