August 26th (Enjoying the Patio!)

Today we stayed at home and enjoyed our Sunday!! Nick has been working a lot so it was nice to see him...lol. We all really love having the patio and Adelyn especially loves using her sandbox from Grandma and Grandpa. She got it from her birthday but has not been able yet to use it until we got the patio finished!! We also made yummy brownies for a special treat...since mommy is watching her sweets so she can finish the rest of her baby weight!! Great family day.

August 25th (Amy's 30th B-day Party)

Tonight we headed out to Amy's mom's house to help her celebrate her 30th birthday!!! There were lots of kids for Ella to play with, which she loved. We enjoyed some food and talked with everyone. Happy Birthday Amy!!

August 24th

 Sleepy much!!

Tonight I went in to feed Ella and when I came back I found Adelyn on the floor at 6:30 asleep! So I picked her up to put her to bed and she woke up all freaked out. She wanted her noodles, but had already eaten them. LOL It was pretty funny...she has been skipping naps more and more each day. Ohh how I dread the day of NO naps...at least Ella still will sleep for me!!

August 23rd (THE PATIO!!!!!!)

We officially have a PATIO!!! After about 3 months of having a torn up backyard...Nick got the patio poured. We had to have the money to do first of all and second it can take awhile to get everything and everyone together!! It is done, huge and awesome!! Can't wait to use it. Great job honey and thanks to everyone that helped.

August 21st

Today Adelyn and I read the book "Little Cloud" and then created with paint and cotton balls our own little cloud. I am now making busy bag activities for Adelyn. We are not doing preschool this year so I am going to start preschool at home with her. She loved putting beads on pipe cleaners...so easy. Ella is my happy baby almost all the time...she is moving around so much I had to block her in on the bed while I put stuff away.

August 19th

 1st time trying squash...she liked it a little more than cereal. Still not a fan of baby food.

Today the girls and I took some cute pics. Ella is trying to sit up better now, but loves to roll everywhere.

August 18th (Playdate with the Simmon's Girls)

 

 

Today we met the Simmon's girls at Oak Park Mall for a playdate while Nick worked and Wes played golf. The girls are so cute together. Emerson just loves Ella and even got to ride with her in the double stroller Erica has. Can't wait to add another girl to the mix in November!!! Great Times!

August 17th

Today the Great Grandparents came by for a visit. They really enjoying playing with the girls and watching them grow!!

August 16th (HAPPY 6 MONTH BIRTHDAY ELLA!)

Making a bird feeder!

 My big 6 month year old!!

Today we made a bird feeder since we attempted so long ago a different way, and it turned out great. Also it was Ella's 6 month birthday...she is just too cute all the time now.
Ella is now rolling over everywhere to get where she wants to go...she isn't crawling yet but will get a toy if she wants it.
She has tried baby oatmeal but doesn't enjoy it much yet.
She tries to talk, she coos and laughs all the time.
She is super happy unless she is tired or hungrery.
She loves when Daddy gets home.
She doesn't take a bottle anymore, strictly nurses.
She sleeps from 6:45, 7 to 2 or 3, nurses...then goes back to sleep till 5 or 6 nurses then sleeps till 7 or 8.
She takes 2 to 3 naps a day.
She loves Adelyn more than anything.
Likes watching people or Oliver, the cat.
She just lights up the room with her smile! Love you Ella Boo!

August 15th (Deanna Rose/Jose Peppers)

Today I decided to take the girls to Deanna Rose for some fun. Adelyn wanted to take a picture with all kinds of stuff. I remember when she used to hate taking pictures but now she loves it!! We ate a picnic lunch and then Adelyn got some yummy chocolate ice cream. She thought it was the best!

 

 

Tonight we headed up to Jose Peppers for some dinner. I didn't feel like cooking a I just love their enchiladas and tacos. Also the cheese dip is a steal for 99 cents. Dadddy got off work early today so he got to go golfing with his Dad for 9 holes, while we were at Deanna Rose. Great day and night!

Today Adelyn finger painted over her name. I saw it on pinterest and thought it was such a cute idea. Well it turned out great...couldn't fit her whole name though didn't have big enough paper. I am going to frame it and hang it up. Also the last picture is a huge picture Addie made a last week but I just wanted to post because she does such a great job making people.
