September 11th (School At Home)

Bagel for lunch and she made a skeleton out of cheese puff Halloween kind!

Learning after lunch today for Ella.

The girls are adjusting and doing well with these crazy school schedules!! 

Wish we were back to normal for school!! 

 

September 10th (Ella Learning @ Home)

I picked up Ella at 11:20 from school. We came home and had lunch with Adelyn, then it was time for some more school! She wasn't thrilled to do more but she did some. We did Starfall, Boom Cards, Read Books, Practiced Writing and then she got to do the YouTube for Kids for a little bit. Ella wanted to go downstairs with sissy so we ventured upstairs to do dress up and play in her room.

September 9th (2nd Day of School!)

 

The girls were a little harder to get up this morning!

Matching shirts today!

Adelyn got on virtual school okay today. Still messing up a little. But doing better.

Surprised Adelyn with QT pretzel with cheese and a coke slushy! 

She has had a positive attitude through this crazy last 2 days so I thought she deserved a little treat!

Today also I contacted the SPED Coordinator to get Ella more time at school, it would be so hard for her to do remote learning 3 days a week. Well I fought and now she gets to go 2 full days, and 3 half days!! 

September 8th (First Day of 3rd Grade and 6th Grade...say what??)

School is actually starting!! Wow!! I didn't think this day would come! Ha.

Adelyn!! How can you be 11 and in 6th grade, where has the time gone?

She is kind of ready for virtual school...we shall see how this goes!

Ella is going to 3rd grade...she has grown up way too fast!!

She was so excited to go in person to school two days a week...it will be an interesting year!

Hope they can get back in as soon as possible.

Adelyn is all set up with her Surface Go in the basement for school! 

I tried to help Addie get on but the site kept crashing, so I told her to try again while I took Ella to school!

Because of coarse Addie started school at the same time I had to leave to take Ella. Ha.

As the day went on Addie was able to get on to all her classes but it was a pain in the butt. She didn't do much in the classes, but she got to see who is in her class!

I got Ella from school at her normal time and she had an AMAZING day!! 

Sooooo happy to be back at school.

She got out of the car and immediately ran to her swing!!

Happy girl!

Ella wanted to be outside all day...she loves her swing.

Addie wanted to relax and watch tv.

September 7th (Family Zoo Day/Lunch @ The Peanut/New Swing/Dairy Queen)

Today we finally made it to the zoo with our zoo pass with Nick!

We had to set up a time online...pain in the butt! It wouldn't load then finally the earliest I could get was 10:30!

It was supposed to be a cooler day out but ended up being humid! Yuck! But we still had a great time and all the animals were out and about!

I didn't want to go to Africa, but we did it anyways walking the whole way!

Gorillas were out in different places! I love gorillas and cat animals!!

Went inside and saw one hanging out by the glass!

It makes me sad to see them though in a zoo...but I don't think they would have much of a life in the wilderness now either!

This was the best. The tigers were up top where we were at. They got up and walked right near us!! It was soooo COOL!!!

We ate snacks we brought through the day. The girls each got to pick a small stuffed animal for a souvenior. Then we left to go eat an early dinner late lunch around 3 something at the Peanut! It was ok...don't think I need to go back.
We came home and Nick got the swing put up!! ELLA WAS SOOOO EXCITED AND HAPPY!

We should have done this months ago!!

A little to short for Addie. We raised it so Ella could go on her belly better and so Addie could swing on it!

Later on we got Dairy Queen for dessert/dinner!

I can't believe its the first day of SCHOOL tomorrow!! The girls are excited, Adelyn not as much!!

Here's to hoping everything goes smoothly with school and they get back in full time sooner than later!!
