July 30th (The BIG night!!)

Tonight was the night to meet Jeff!! Nick and Lisa headed up to Old Chicago in Overland Park to meet their younger brother for the 1st time!! Of course I made Nick bring the camera...since I didn't go. LOL I can't believe how much they all look like brother and sister. Nick had a great time and they talked for about 2 hrs. Nick had to come home and go to bed for work but they had an awesome time. Can't wait till I get to meet him and for him to meet our girls!

July 29th (Daddy & his Brother...Jeff!!)

 Adelyn just loves to hold Ella. She even asked and held her for a long time, while I did things upstairs.

The new cat scratcher toy Daddy made for Oliver. Awesome job.

Today was an exciting day!! Daddy got to talk on the phone to his long lost brother...Jeff!! It was so exciting I had to capture the moment. Nick's parents had given him up when he was a baby but he has now found Lisa and Nick. They are excited to get to know one another and hope to have a relationship!! I am so excited and happy for all of them!!

July 28th (Family Time/Brother's Birthday)

 As I was nursing Ella, Adelyn was yelling to be wiped downstairs. By the time I got down there to tell her to wipe herself she was asleep on the potty!! We were all cracking up laughing. Greatest moment ever!!

 Headed to the legends for Uncle Steve's 26th birthday. Adelyn loved the dinosaurs.

Today was a fun day. Nana and Nanu came over to hang out with the girls. Nanu helped Daddy make a window cover for us and a cat scratcher toy for Oliver. We grilled out hot dogs for lunch...enjoyable day. Then in the afternoon we headed out to the Legends to eat at the Jazz for dinner. Stephen chose the Jazz...it was very good but without a reservation not very good with a 5 1/2 month old that goes to bed around 7:30 or 8. We didn't eat until 7:30 or so...so we had a crying baby most of dinner. Adelyn did great though and everyone loved my cookie cake. Great night and happy birthday little bro!!

July 27th

 Adelyn had to wear her snow boots today!! Silly girl.

Today Adelyn got to play with her new shopping cart I got her for $6 bucks 70% off at target yesterday.It had really cool food in it so I said yes and she did good in the store. I got a lot of presents for Christmas. They didn't have a lot of baby stuff on clearance though. The picture above of Ella sleeping is so cute...love my sleepy baby girl!

July 26th (Playdate @ the Mall)

Today the Simmon's girls and us met at Oak Park mall for a playdate.

Emerson and Ella...almsot exactly a year old. They are too cute! Emerson is so sweet with her. She loves babies.

Today was so much fun meeting up at the mall. Adelyn and Bridget just played and played while Erica and I got to catch up. They just have so so much fun with one another. They are best friends, as Adelyn says. We then walked around the mall alittle went into the American Girl Store for the first time. Uh oh is right they are super cute dolls and now Addie wants one for Christmas. We were starving so we headed into Panera and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Lastly we went into Barnes n Noble to look at kid books and for the girls to play with the trains upstairs. Such a fun filled day, can't wait till next week!

July 22nd (Night Night)

Tonight I had to get sleeping pics of the girls...they are the cuteset!! Adelyn wouldn't go to sleep in her own bed tonight so I let her fall asleep in our bed while we were downstairs. And Ella is just so cute in all her positions!! Sleep tight!

July 21st (Busy Day!!)

Today was a crazy crazy day. Daddy and I worked in the yard moving dirt for a couple of hours. Then went across the street to Sofia's 1st birthday and then out to Pleasant Hill for Rees' 3rd Birthday Party. It was a lot of fun and lots of good food, but very tiring. Fun filled day with the Benton's!
