April 29th (Addie is feeling much better today!!)

Today was a munch better day today!! Addie is feeling much better and took 2 great naps. We had lots of fun playing with our friends and playing outside in the afternoon. Can't wait to go to all the garage sales tomorrow!!

April 28th (Happy 11 months Addie!!)

Today Adelyn's 11 months old!! woo hoo. She is starting to feel better and so we got to go outside today...which she loved!!! We also had a photo shoot with Aidan today and got some really cute shots of the two great models. Hope to get some good sleep tonight!! Ha Ha

April 27th (Mommy is feeling a little better!!)

Adelyn is always getting in boxes, baskets and really anything she can sit in. It makes me see what a big girl she is!!

Today was a crazy start with Addie waking up twice and then finally getting up at 5:30 am!!!! This morning mommy was not a happy camper do to not getting much sleep and then being woken up by a sick baby. Luckily Aidan was a great baby today so I didn't have to worry to much about him. But through out the day it got better little by little with Adelyn. She seemed to want to play more today but is now coughing!! Tonight daddy and I got a good dose of medicine down her so hopefully that will help. I just want her to sleep and feel better soon.

April 26th (Sickness in the Benton Household!!)

Today was not a fun day for mommy, daddy or Addie. Mommy went to the doctor and has a sinus infection like she thought. Addie is still getting over her ear infection and I think sinus infection. And Daddy is having aches and pains as well as sinus issues. Not fun at all over here. I also have learned that Mommy never has a day off or night off!! I hope Adelyn has a good night sleep tonight because we all need our rest.

April 25th (Nanny's 80th Birthday Party)

Tonight we went to Aunt Donna and Uncle Steve's to celebrate Nanny's 80th Birthday Party. We had lots of fun chatting and watching Adelyn play with the dogs.

April 24th (Sick BABY!!)

Today we took Adelyn to the doctor since she didn't sleep AT ALL lastnight. I figured something had to be wrong since we didn't get any sleep and for once I was right. Adelyn had an ear infection and the other had fluid behind it. I also believe Adelyn has a sinus infection...so she got an antibiotic. I have taken Addie to the doctor many times and it is usually just teeth so in a way I was alittle relieved they could give her something to help her feel better!!

April 23rd (Swimming & Oak Park Mall)

Today was a long fun day!! We went swimming with our neighbors which Adelyn loved. Then since Daddy got rained out we all went to Oak Park Mall to walk around and for Addie to play. Adelyn was unusually quiet during the stroller ride, but had a good time. Later in the evening though Adelyn did not sleep AT ALL and neither did Mommy and Daddy!!

April 22nd

This week Addie has hard a rough time sleeping at night. She has been drooling like crazy and has been congested. I think it is just teething but the runny nose is starting to worry me. I feel so bad for her since we have tried everything to help her!! Hope next week is better....because I know she needs some sleep and so do I!!

April 21st

Adelyn had a fun day today. She enjoyed playing outside and got to see a bird on the fence. She practiced saying "Bird". Adelyn is just talking soooo much lately. She also enjoyed twirling and twirling today in her pretty dress!!

April 20th (Addie and her dolls!!)

Today Adelyn loved playing with ther dolls and doll house that she got from the neighbors for free. The dolls are a little chewed up but she still loves them. She just loves dolls and baby dolls!! She is just a little mommy in the making!! Update: Adelyn now loves to twirl around...it is so adorable and then she laughs!! She also is starting to say Thank You in her own way. She loves to try to copy what we say...love that she is learning so much so fast!!

April 19th (I can feed myself!!)

This morning I decided to let Addie eat by herself. She did great eating her yogurt...she loved being a big girl. I liked it also because then I could enjoy my own meal at the same time.

April 18th (New Master Bedroom for mommy and daddy)

This week/weekend Mommy and Daddy worked long and hard on painting our room many times since we got the wrong color the first time and then needed more coats because of the chocolate brown we used to have. Daddy did such a great job and worked very hard. Thanks honey. Love the result.

Today was a long fun day. We started off at Mia's 1st Birthday at the Blue Valley Rec Center and got to go swimming. Adelyn had such a blast. We then went to G-ma and G-pa Livingston's house for dinner. Addie then got a new carseat...that we love and some new clothes. Thanks for everything!! Great Day.
